I haven't think about it actually I never liked Stevie Nicks that much, but that must be because I've always think she didn't do much good to Fleetwood Mac . With the band I had back in high school though we played a Janis Joplin song.

As a Leo fan, what side are you on when it comes to the whole oscar situation? I must admit that although I've made a lot of money betting on the oscars...He could very well land a lifetime achievement one day if nothing else. Well, that's not to say its now or never by any means but the fact that they might not like him that much combined with the competitive nature of the male category doesn't make things look all too promising. One the flip side, it seems that most people forget the one hit wonder winners anyway. That is people seem to respect who they respect based on what they've seen.
I pretty much agree with you...It really doesn't make his career any less respected without the oscar, but if he won, I doubt it would make him any more respected either. Hes had a ton of respect his whole career, while these people who win tend to be those who are breakout stars/and or normally not that great. Not saying they aren't good actors, but I find they like to award those with "career turnarounds" like Mathew M. and Reese for example.
I guess with Leo, hes always so good, its nothing out of the ordinary, therefore he doesn't get recognized
