And Venezuelan chocolate is better than American chocolate BTW, one of the few things that are still good in this country 

Oh yea, Venez. chocolate is typically pretty expensive here ($10, $8 a bar, etc.) and and typically stocked in specialty stores.  Swiss, Belgium, and German chocolate is very good too.  Even British chocolate is better than American.  Russian chocolate is good sometimes but not great.  

Probably, the only chocolate that is worse than American corporate brands like Hersey is Chinese chocolate.  Japanese chocolate is pretty bad too, but probably just 'equally' bad as American.

I've never seen Venezuelan chocolate in the US, I guess I didn't really look for it as I had my family shipping me chocolate every other month But yeah is way better than American chocolate and I think it's the best chocolate in the world. I don't get the fuzz over Swiss/German chocolate, I've been there and tried a ton of chocolate and there was nothing particularly great about it

When it comes to chocolate, coffee & meat South America is the place to go.

Honestly now you have me interested on your countries chocolate but I'm not sure if we get that stuff here due to our countries not so stable relationship. I have to check it out or else I shall transfer you like $100 dollars so you can ship me a boat load

My favorite chocolate it's kind of like a Nutella ... It's called Nucita and I love it, it's my obsession and I think this should be World's Eight Wonder It's half Milk Chocolate & half White chocolate.

The national chocolate it's from a company called Savoy. There's also a Nestle fabric here in Venezuela so even though it's Nestle it's great. However the best brand it's another local called El Rey (The King) and they basically have every type of chocolate: Extra-Dark, Dark, Milk Chocolate & White and they're awesome and I could live on those chocolates

Ah heck yes! I can purchase the El Rey brand!

I just don't know which percentage to choose from now in terms of cocoa Gonna order some ASAP though...Jen is going to LOVE ME for a good few days once this arrives

I always go with 40.5% but my nephew likes 60.5% and then my sister likes the 73.5% so I can't really help you with that, all I can say is that 73.5% it's really really dark, it's almost black

But as far as choices I prefer the dark end of the scale - higher cocoa percentage, and the lady usually goes something towards the middle so I am just going to go with something along those lines

Then why don't you go with two of each? Try them all, except the Icoa if you're not into white chocolate of course ... But I do have to say that the Icoa one it's awesome so yeah, I would try them all If I was you

Yeah I re-read again and saw it was 12, but even $36 is a lot for 12 chocolates. But it makes sense I guess to sell them more expensive for other countries.
