The white gloves are too overpowering in those shots of Candice. They should have given her a red pair to suit the outfit more. She looks great though.

Agreed. If it were up to me, I would lose the gloves and add the small crown.

 

I think they probably removed the crown because she is the show opener, and absolutely NOTHING must go wrong with the show opener. They probably wanted to remove any chance of error.
