Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013 (GENERAL DISCUSSION)

Honestly VS has been criticized for not having a "diverse" Cast. So some girls lost spots to the diverse girls, I like diversity but at least has better models than the ones they cast. I think bregje maroles and a coupled regulars lost spots to Malaika, Cindy etc....... Just my opinion.

Any ideas what the "music video" this year will be? I hope it's 22 by Taylor Swift. Does the song have to be used in the show?

I disagree that they "lost spots" to those girls. Cindy and Malaika looked amazing, and worked their butts off to get cast in the show. They deserved being there just as much as Marloes or Bregje or anyone else.

As far as I remember seeing, these girls didn't get a lot of pictures posted for them. So I'm going to update this post to add in some "underdogs."

Malaika and Ming  are such beautiful girls with lovely bodies and VS wasted it in those tacky ass PINK outfits shame.

I doubt any of the models knew who Neon Jungle was, let alone a song by them? I really hope it's Taylor Swift; it should be a song everyone knows so they can "get into it." They sang a Maroon 5 song in 2011 and they weren't in the PINK segment

See I disagree. I know it's not the case now, but I think the VSFS should be first and foremost a privilege for the girls that work the most with them year round. You can't argue that Cindy or Malaika have worked harder with VS than Bregje or Marloes. Bregje has in fact shot year round, almost as much as some of the angels. Marloes's work picked up a few months ago. Gracie especially flew all the way to Paris to do the X-mas commercial, and also does catalogue. Cindy and Malaika have just had good fashion weeks, and are the girls of the season. And I just can't even with Shanina. She also shoots VS year round.

Perhaps it is not so much how hard a model works b/c that is subjective, but who is given the opportunity and/or the  chance to begin with.

I hate to be the one to say it, but HOLY HELL, what is happening to all the outfits the girls chose to wear to the PINK carpet?! The vast majority are absolutely dreadful and look completely out of character.
