I know, right? I think they're keeping things quiet this year because the show doesn't air before December 10th so they realize that they don't really have to care right now. But yeah as the castings start (heard it will be from 28th to 30th) we'll get more info.

Barbara is the fit model. It means that they try the outfits on her.

Castings is when they cast/choose the girls to walk the show.

Two different things.

Also some models don't do castings, they get an invitation from VS before the castings which is the case with Lais and I'm sure it's the same for Izabel, Isabeli, Jian Smalls, Lily D, Karlie pre-Angel days and basically all the big name models. So that's why some girls (like Lais) already know they'll walk.

And Barbara is the fitting model so I'm pretty sure she'll walk again.

Haha I sure hope Barbara will walk...can you imagine how awkward it would be if she didn't?!

Also, another underrated model for VS is Caroline Trentini! She seriously wowed me in 2006.

I think Miranda was the fitting model for 2006, not 2005.

I read somewhere that she was the fit model for 2005. It could be wrong though. Heather and Trentini were fit models for 2006, but Miranda could have very well been one as well.

I can't remember a model in the last too many years who was the fitting model and didn't make it to the show. Since 2006 I'm sure everyone made it, can't say for 2005 because I'm not sure if it was Miranda as it was pointed out of if it was someone else.

Plus Barbara already walked last year so I think she's pretty much in.

Miranda and Rosie were the fit models for 06 I'm sure. Not sure of 05. I think Andi and Michaela were 07. They both made it in. Candice was 08 and 09 also I'm sure. Not sure the years after. But Miranda, Candice and Rosie all made Angel and were fit models. Maybe a good sign for Barbara . I think Lais was one of the years fit models also.

Last year during the live preshow they also stated that Lindsay and Erin had been fit models.

I think Erin & Lindsay were the two fit models in 2009 and I'm 99% sure Lindsay was the fit model in 2010.

2011 I think it was Lais but I can't remember.

Its kind of interesting to see who they choose to be the fit models. Michelle still went to castings in 2002, but I'm guessing it's just procedural, given that they've seen them try-on every outfit already.
