Castings are taking place. It has been confirmed that castings would be from the 28th to the 30th, i think VS and the agencies asked the girls to shut up about it in social networks

 

 

I'm just going to assemble a list like MissLima but for performers. Those in italics are potential acts, but they'd had little time to rehearse due to scheduling conflicts.

Available: Taylor Swift, One Direction, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, Rita Ora, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira

Performing at EMA's/attending: Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, Robin Thicke, Ellie Goulding

On Tour: Selena Gomez, Mackelmore, Daft Punk, Jessie J, Beyonce, Phillip Phillips, Alex Clare

Miscellaneous: Demi Lovato (X-Factor), Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera (potentially unavailable by The Voice)

Shakira's single comes out either November 13 or November 18th so I think that's good publicity for her

I would just like to see Taylor to see how she fits wearing lingerie into her music.

 

The performers don't always wear lingerie; Rihanna didn't for her first segment last year, nor did Nicki Minaj.

Jasmine Tookes has been in Jamaica for the past few days and I HIGHLY doubt she would miss castings. She loves VS. Sara S has been in LA (don't know if she is 'automatic,' but surely VS would still want her present. VS has actually had photoshoots the past few days too, wouldn't they want the main staff to be at the castings?

Edit: Also, many models are in Brazil right now for SPFW. 

I don't remember VS doing this before for an artist, especially considering pretty much everyone has been spotted wearing PINK stuff at least once.

 

Hum, that's suspicious, seems Taylor will really perform at VSFS. Just wonder what music she will sing? 22 maybe? would fit with pink segment I guess. Anyway, I'am happy because I like Taylor.

Yeah I understand if they want to keep things hush hush on the castings I guess, but like Gab6565 said we would have heard/seen SOMETHING indicating that it was taking place and the fact that a lot of girls seem to be doing something different or/and are not even in  NY at the moment and what not makes it even more harder to believe that castings took place unless VS went all Pirelli Calendar secret mode on the castings or something this year.

But if castings haven't already happened yet I'm guessing they are going to have castings in early November.

VS is just going about things differently this year so I don't even know anymore at this point. 

I ONLY hope this year we will get normal Fitting pics and rehearsals pictures like 2011

Last time i said this: It has been confirmed already that castings are taking place already. Some models already have been invited which is why they don't need to do castings and some probably got callbacks already too so they don't need to go to the first round of castings.

It doesn't hurt to go back a few pages and look for it.

Just because models are not going all idiotic on twitter and IG it means castings are not happening, it means VS wanted everyone to shut up and probably the agencies did too because why would you post about it and then have to admit you didn't make the cut? It only makes you look bad. Sports Illustrates has been doing castings for 50 years without anyone knowing so VS could very well be doing the same.

Plus two models have already confirmed they went to castings this week and it was posted here so I don't get the whole "there should be an indication" thing. Those two models are from a random agency that probably does not care that much about what the models do.

Castings end today and then the girls who made it for the callbacks will do it all over again probably this week too until VS gets the final lineup.

I have this odd feeling there is a going to be a few surprise casting selections. There are just so many models all over the place and doing other work related jobs at the moment. Or that could just be me itching for that instead. Ha.

Fingers crossed for Xenia! She has a killer body

I thought Lana del Rey will be amazing for this year show but she will be in Chile. I like Taylor for the pink section, but just for that, her song "22" will fit perfect for that!! Dont know who other performer could it be, i like Daft Punk just for the Get Lucky song, that song could be perfect for a segment.

Anybody already thought wich performer could fit for the segment "british invasion" or "snow angel"? (like in 2012 almost all sections were with a live performance). And i will looooooove to see Oluchi back to the runway!!

Agree with everything you said, except maybe constance jablonski. And we should wait and see andreea diaconu, because I think she can stand out there, but I'm not sure she went to castings, because she said on instagram 3 days ago that she is going to miami.
