My spin: I thought this was a very interesting match, as Rebecca took on the hype machine that is Kate. Rebecca had thrashed Amber Smith in the previous round, which I thought may bode well for her versus Kate. But, Kate proved herself much stronger than Amber, as she won a rather close match to advance to the Sexy Sixteen.

I think the Nina vs Kate round will be the most interesting one to date, Kate is obviously the biggest SI model right now and the biggest one in the last decade but Nina seems to have a huge fanbase too, I know she does not stand a chance for a 2014 cover but I'll be surprised if she doesn't get it once the whole 50th Anniversary thing is over

I think so too, I'm just very curious to see if it will be a close call or if she'll slay Nina.
Honestly I'll be surprised if Kate doesn't make it to the final.

My spin: Shannan continues to live a charmed life in this tournament, as she registers another narrow victory. Survive and advance. Think about this: Shannan nearly lost in the first round of the Qualifying Draw, when she slipped past Caprice Bourret 52%-48%, yet here she is in the Sexy Sixteen amongst the titans of SI Swimsuit. Amazing! Genevieve's fans will be disappointed after she was able to knock off #2 seed Cheryl Tiegs but then could not do the same against a qualifier. We'll see if Shannan's amazing run can continue in Round 4, where she'll face an uphill battle against either Rachel or Brooklyn.
