Tobacco Road by Erskine Caldwell. Catcher in the Rye is absolutley astoundingly awesome. I wrote a lengthy paper discussing the buddhist undertones of the book. If you like J.D. Salinger, pick up his short stories book and read"A Perfect Day for Bananafish."

i read that when i was in high school... book club... this girl--who is now one my best friends--that i was staying with made me join with her. my english was not that great then but all the books we read were amazing... that was one of them

it is a page turn... but i our class decided it was poorly written

no, in fact, that was the first Clone Wars novel I read. Anything I didn't understand, like some of the battles, I looked up on www.starwars.com.

Most of the Clone Wars stuff I read are graphic novels. Dark Horse has put out ALOT of CW Graphic Novel's.

Def. If you like Yoda, pick up this book. He is silly funny. They do a good job of explaining things that I hadn't read about. Asajj Ventress for example, was a new character until I read this book. I don't think she play a role in ROTS, but she was a major character throughout the Clone Wars stuff

just got done reading a book series from teh late 80's, early 90's called warbots. im into all the science fiction stuff. 12 books in the series, so it kept me busy for a while
