To be honest,I have never kept an eye for him or expected any good thing comes out from him,but have to admit,he's the star today,all lights are on him,it's not only he made the winning,but also he brought the CUP for his team.

Kinda funny that Messi got the golden ball award (aka best player), his skills today were sub par, I didn't even realize half the time he was on the pitch.
But I am so happy for Germany! The entire match though became more like a boxing ring that football, so much tension and injuries. But nevertheless Germany got through and won.

I dissagree with FIFA there, that ball should have been for a German player, or James, or a Dutch, I mean, Messi didn't do anything to deserve it in this world cup, and I say so even being fan of him.
But Messi did so well for his team,also he's been good all tournament long,but as for me,I'd choose Robben .
As for FIFA,it's like custom there to give a an award for any player from teams who reach finals, whether it got the CUP or got the 2nd position,aLso the German goalkeeper didn't deserve the best keeper ,just because his team won the CUP,they had to give something for the team,best player,best keeper,best defender,anything.
