Why dog's lifespan has to be so short?

She was 13 and she was with us for 9 years...

She passed 2 days ago

These were the saddest holidays ever...

Beautiful dog. Sorry for your loss. It's always hard when a pet goes.

That's one of the reasons I haven't had a pet in a while. I guess I don't want to deal with the loss.

We're all still sad about it... It's never easy indeed. She was part of the family

No clones this week but some original music!

This one is part of my album Fuego Y Sangre and it's inspired by The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

It's a rather "Heavy Rockabilly" stuff so to speak.

HACIA LAS NUBES

(lyrics from this one are in Spanish... feel free to ask for a translation if you want  )

I hope you like it if you haven't listened to it yet on the album

So who do you think is the best rock band of this and the previous decade?

Oh, this is a great question!

I have a few posible ones: Alter Bridge comes immediately to mind (and to think before they were that oh-so-awful band that was Creed  ). Great music and interpretation and Myles Kennedy has to be the best Rock singer of this time.

On the heavier side I think Mastodon also has a strong case, especially with an album like Crack The Skye was. Their latest 2 albums have also been great.

Also Volbeat is one of my very favorites from this decade and the previous one. I love the fusion they do on Heavy Metal/Hard Rock with Rock n' Roll and Rockabilly. It's a shame though that their last album was so bad

Oh and Muse! How could I forget about Muse!!

Probably the most interesting band out of this last couple of decades. Matt Bellamy is truly a genius.

Its definitely great to see Rockability still going on. For that and the good times alone, I'll forgive Volbeat's missteps . Myles has been putting in work my whole life, so its good to see him getting more recognition. I really liked him with Slash, but going with G&R was understandable I guess. Myles is a good guitar player himself. Not familiar with Muse. Definitely need to look them up.

I hope Volbeat redeem themselves once they do another album. They're playing a concert here in march!! A sideshow to the Lollapalooza festival. I had no intentions of going to Lollapalooza but I'm 100% going to this sideshow!

Myles is indeed also a great guitarist! Though as much as I like him with Slash I think what he does with Alter Bridge is better. I saw he's releasing a solo album soon.

And yes, definitely give a listen to Muse!! They're really great
