That's an interesting thought!

Maybe the likes of Led Zeppelin and Queen wouldn't have reached the levels of dominance they achieved? Since they were clearly the ones to fill the void The Beatles left.

But considering what The Beatles represented, maybe the Punk movement would have been even stronger  

I also sometimes wonder what direction would The Beatles' music have taken if they hadn't split up. And if their solo careers may serve as an hint of it, or if it would have been completely different...
