Again in work but the more you remind me, the more I will be motivated when I came home yesterday I was totally dead. Not only because of very exhausting weekend (alcohol), but also thanks to the astonishing heat that we´re experiencing now. Literally sweating my pants off.

Congratz to the graduation!! And also to the radio interview! Great news. Have you ever considered a band carrier, or is solo the only way to go for you? What kind of music do you play? It seems you take it seriously. So music is not only your hobby as I originally thought?

Let me remind you again then

If you want to just listen you can find more music here:  https://soundcloud.com/carlosmolinab

Sounds like a good weekend  And how hot is it over there?

Thank you!

Well I need a band to play live. Last year I had a band and we were playing my first album, but it didn't work out. Now once I have my second album ready I'll form a band to play song from it and the first one, and to do an album release gig. But I usually write and record my music on my own.

I mostly play Rock, specially Hard Rock/Heavy Rock, Metal too and Blues.

So no, it's not a hobby, I take it very seriously

I tried to listen to it on the soundcloud, but my computer is so slow that the music was torn and it was rather useless but don´t worry, I will listen to it, from the start it sounded great

When it´s hot here the temperatures rise to 27 to 29 these two days, which is quite ok, because the most powerful summers usually vary around 35/38 celzius. We´re getting very confusing weather these days, hot´n´cold, either you have to wear jeans and jumper or you´re sweating in shorts and undershirt.

I like a good rock and blues, not into hard rock/heavy rock and metal, but it´s always about the likeness of the song rather than genre for me

Why the first band did not work out? What went bad?

I'm glad you liked the little you could hear! I hope you can listen to it soon!

35-38º!! Oh, that's a lot!  Good that it's not so terrible now though. And how are Winters over there?

I hope you like my music then There's some covers on Soundcloud and Youtube which are all in English, but my songs are in Spanish. It may even help you a bit for practice too

The band I had last year didn't work out because of difference in interests I would say. One of them wanted to use the time for studying and the others wanted to play other kind of music.

Today I plan to it´s the first day after almost two weeks when I will have some time for myself

Winters can range from very mild to very cruel at times. From -1 to -25 (and less in the other parts of Slovakia, especially mountains), sometimes we experience two weeks of very cruel winter just to have a mild one for the rest of it.

How is it at your place?

I´m really looking forward to those in Spanish especially

I see it can be quite difficult to find the right band for you. And it´s always an art to coordinate group of people into doing the same thing

Awesome!

Been having some crazy couple of weeks I see?

-25!!  You really get some extreme temperatures both in summer and winter then.

Here winters are not so terrible. Usually it doesn't go much bellow 0ºC, and definitely not colder than -5ºC. I've never experienced -10ºC over here. And it rarely snows, only in the mountains and the extreme south it snows more regularly.

I hope you like them then And I hope you can understand the lyrics too

Yes, it's a difficult thing to find the appropriate people for these kind of projects. It's indeed an art to coordinate a group of people so the group advances in the same way.

Finally, yesterday I listened to some of your songs and I have to say, what a voice you have! Amazing! All of your songs that I´ve heard sound very professional, great melody, great music, great voice.

And eventhough such kind of music is not something I enjoy listening to much, I really liked them - especially Nos Vamos a Ver and Aún en Pie I have to dedicate more time to your music and listen to all of it more thoroughly for sure.

How are summers??

Most of musicians usually grow up surrounded by their friends - musicians as well, is that not your case?

Great!! And thank you I'm really glad you liked them.

I see you listened mostly to my first album then I really like those 2 songs too. Aún en Pie has a Punk feel that I enjoy a lot. Was one of the fastest to write too.

If you noticed Belegaer (the instrumental track), that's the name of the sea in LOTR

There's a couple of songs inspired in the Game of Thrones books Fuego y Sangre and Arpía. Those 2 aren't part of my first album though.

Again, I'm happy you liked them even if it's not the kind of music you enjoy the most

Depends in which part of the country you are. Here the summers are dry, almost no rain and quite hot too. It doesn't reach 40ºC or so, but from December through March is usual to have over 30ºC, the highest temperatures are usually 35ºC or so, never much more than that. In the city where I come from, which is in the south, summers are not so dry. There's some rain actually, but usually not that much. Temperatures are usually not that high, but we get a couple of 34º-35ºC days every summer.

It is my case too actually! Most of my friends are musicians (be it pro or not) or are deeply into music as listeners. I've had a couple of great bands in the city I come from, but then we all moved to different places or developed different interests in music.

It sounds like a high-quality music, not some amateur videos I usually encounter and your voice is really exceptional. When I think about it, have you ever considered in joining some singing contest?? My friend actually have - he was a contestant of the song competition similar to "The Voice" that was broadcasted in Czecho/Slovakia, and it helped him with popularity and contacts.

I guess you are accustomed to such kinds of heat?

Are you the only one that took the professional path?

Thank you! It's great to see that the work is being appreciated And I've never really wanted to join any of those contests actually. But it may be useful indeed, it might help somehow.

Yes, pretty much, since those aren't so terribly high temperatures  But when it's over 30ºC it's a bit too much though

Right now I'm on the south and it's raining with some sun at times. And cold

Of those bands, 2 others took the professional path, but one went to focus more in classical and folkloric music, and the other went into teaching, and plays different music than I do too. Other than them none of my close school friends took the professional path in music. Most of my friends who are pro too are my classmates from music school.

Do you have any musical contests of such kind at your country?

How cold? We´re getting the typical summer heats again

But imagine the connection between classical, folk and rock music! What a promising idea it would be but I can understand that you want to pursue your own way. Any news on it? How about the interview you told us about? How did it go?

Yes, there's a couple: there's one called "Talento Chileno", which is not only for singing or playing music though, but for any kind of talent. And there is one called "Mi Nombre Es", which is focused on imitating other singers. Which is a concept that I absolutely dislike. I don't really watch any of those though. I think there is or at least there was another one, but I can't remember it's name.

Not so terrible for you I think   but a couple of days back we had 0ºC in the morning.

How hot is getting?

Oh it could make for an interesting mix, no doubt. But it's not on the plans of any of us anyway.

That radio interview went great! But it hasn't been aired yet. It should be during August, but I'll get a notice once it does. And today a song from my album was played on another radio , not an online one but a FM radio . Last week they played another song, but I couldn't hear the program that time.

No, never heard about it before! So I have no idea if it's indeed legit. It looks... interesting?   But I'm not sure if I would do it
