I've been going thru almost 1 container a day here ![]()

It all makes sense now

I'm really sorry, but I can't do that.
but I keep in mind.
The cover totally looks like a Game of Thrones inspired cover. What are the songs about? Ice and fire?

And why is that? ![]()
No, it's about The Silmarillion, by J.R.R. Tolkien
It's a concept album.
----
Guess I should have posted this one ![]()

No, the problem is that I can't download (or watch YouTube videos) atm. But I'll listen to your album when it will be possible. It's not that I have preconceptions about it.
I like Elvis too

Oh right, the internet issues! I hope you like it once you listen to it then
(though it's quite heavy and has a rather darker atmosphere than the first one)
And yeah, Elvis is awesome ![]()

This is a terrific site that uploads new comics as they come out: http://viewcomic.com/

Royal Blood

The creator of these two wickedly funny stories is a distinguished Chilean creative genius, have you heard of him?
^ I'm downloading a reader for Mac, so I hope I'll take a look at it soon.
The title at least looks interesting. It has been widely used in music too, specially in Metal, aside from Wagner.
I don't know how much Tolkien took directly from Wagner's work, but he did borrowed lots of elements from Norse and Germanic mythology. The Ring thing probably has to do with the Nibelung Ring, which in turn takes a lot from Germanic mythology too. But I'm not sure how direct the relation between The Lord of the Rings and the Nibelung story is.
I see the series as a introduction to Norse mythology, and it was interesting to look through it. I haven't really read it, though..
Why is it widely used in music? I have noticed that, but don't understand.

Great work, very talented!
Have you heard of this band and their song, Driver's High?
It kind of reminds me of your music! ![]()
What kind of audience do you target and what genre do you consider yours to be?
And another one from the album that I uploaded on Youtube:
Portador de la Luz (Bearer of the Light)
And it goes with another reminder to those who haven't given the album a listen yet
Here it's the whole thing:

A person who enjoys punk/rock/alternative music. Geeky Punk Rockers usually listen to a mix of 90's music and some bands today. Geeky Punk Rockers like geeky things, like Minecraft, Doctor Who, Battlestar Gallactica, Star Wars, LOTR ect. Geeky Punk Rockers like bands they can relate to, Like Weezer for example, a group of nerds. The Punk part comes from the more Punk rock bands like Nirvana. They are the weird mix of awkward and rebellious at the same time. They are generally handsome but at the same time rejected by society it seems, increasing difficulty of a girlfriend. Geeky Punk Rockers enjoy memes and many hours on the internet. They do not like sports at all.
So? Still not? ![]()

Thanks for the links! I'll be taking a look at them when I have time.
Oh, they're by Jodorowsky! Yes, I've heard of him, he quite known but I've never looked into his work. Now those comics look even more interesting
i had no idea he was involved in the comics world.

The concept has been usually used by Power Metal and I think some Death Metal bands too. Power Metal originated in Germany with Helloween as the genre starters, so it's not surprising that they took such an important part of German culture into their music. Also, Power Metal goes after an epic atmosphere, and stories such as Wagner's are well suited for that. Lots of other Power Metal bands come from Germany or a nearby context too.
Death Metal on the other hand, when in Europe is usually associated with Sweden, and (but not so much as Black Metal) they sometimes use germanic mythology elements into their music too, and again Wagner's stories are well suited for that.

Great work, very talented!

Thanks!! Good to see there's people listening ![]()
No, I've never heard of them. Though I don't find that similar to my music, just a bit on the song's intro.
I usually label my music between Heavy Metal and Heavy Rock/Hard Rock, with some progressive elements as of late. But mainly Heavy Metal and Heavy Rock, so those who are into those genres are more or less the target. Also people who enjoy classic rock may like my work, since there's a lot of that sound in my music too.

No!!! And that definition is wrong in so many aspects too! Besides I'm not a "Punk Rocker" and what is described as such there is not what it really is ![]()
Nirvana is not even a Punk band for that matter, and even less is Weezer.
(And of those I only like Star Wars and LOTR, and I DO like sports
)

And lastly, but not the least, here's the song that gives the album it's title: Abismos del Tiempo.
This is the oldest song of the album and the one that started the whole project. I wrote it back in 2006, during my last high school year and it took me around a month or 2. How I managed to write such a thing before having any studies in music is still a mystery ![]()
So here it is, an epic piece over 23 minutes long:
And you can find the whole album here
