What do you think of this fantasy soundtrack?

^ It's good!

Kind of the typical thing though for these epic-like games; at times it reminds me of Skyrim's soundtrack. It does give a nice atmosphere with the Celtic elements and the "war-like" percussion.

have you played or watched witcher 3? I can't stop raving about it, lol.  Fallout 4 is coming out on Nov 10- I will watch it shortly afterwards.

The soundtrack is a mixture between war-like, folksy, adventure, and mystical.  I found the use of the soundtrack very effective in the game- it often illustrated the situations occurring in the same manner as a good film.

hmmph, need to check out skyrim's soundtrack.

Also, I enjoyed watching Outlast.  Donny and I talked about it a long time ago.

No, I haven't played it. I haven't played any Fallout either.

But the soundtrack sounds quite effective for a game of it's kind, with those celtic and medieval/renaissance elements.

Skyrim is probably a similar kind of game: open world role game.

Outlast was great! It achieved it's purpose in a great manner and the story was good. It gives some real scares and jump moments. The Whistleblower DLC was awesome too. Now it's time to wait for Outlast II to be released.

Fallout 3 is amazing .  As for Open world games, according to my "research" over the years, I think Witcher 3 is the best one.  I still need to check out skyrim and others though.

I enjoyed outlast and whistleblower.  For me it was original.  It had some concepts taken from films like {REC} Something quite good and similar in style is "Alien: Isolation".

Do you know of/have any favorites of this type?  I would like to know.

This is the band, "Percival", that did the musicl

This guy goes through Outlast in little over half an hour- kind an interesting feat.

Imma just leave this hurr:

You know, once you get over the poppy kinda stuff Su Metal (oldest girl) is actually a pretty good singer.

I know a lot of people just listen to Gimme Chocolate and stop but Babymetal isn't that bad

And then there's stuff like this.

Which is catchy and I like it

I may have a look at Alien: Isolation. And Outlast 2 is coming next year; i'm already waiting for that one.

Not really. It's not music that I usually listen to. I can identify those elements and I enjoy it when I listen to it but I don't have much knowledge about it besides recognizing the style.

Nice music! Wish the audio quality was better though. It has quite some middle eastern elements too. They make an interesting fusion. Also nice to know it's real musicians playing the music for the game! I know of many games that rely too much on vst's to make their music.

And about that Outlast speed-run it's indeed an interesting feat, but I feel it goes against the spirit of the game
