Oddly enough nothing on this earth has value, it's a concept we humans have placed on every item we see. Kinda makes u think eh?

In terms of money yes, but every living organism or at least animal places some sort of "value" on things; things needed for survival that imply some sacrifice or effort in order to get it. Be it food or anything else. We humans just have turned that into money.

What are VST's?  Thanks for your comments.

Oh sorry, I tend to go a bit technical on this haha. VST is a common way to refer to virtual instruments that work via MIDI language.

Here's another one.  The Marketing campaign for Fallout 4 should be seen as a model of first rate advertising- it really generated a lot of hype and sales with quite minimal displays.  The actual product itself was quite derivative of FO3 and in contrast to the marketing, lol.

Among the things that made FO4 promotion effective was this jingle (the first part of the song).  To me, it sticks out as a jingle about "hope" and ascendance & was instantly memorable.  By attaching this to all their paraphernalia, they gave a "dejavu" feel- this sense of wonder, and speculation of possibilities.

It seems always good commercial sense to tap into the universal notions of ascendance, and music is the most direct path to it.

I've seen lots of hype about that game actually, but I've never played any of the Fallout games. Is the last one out yet?

The music is really well done, and the piano solo version sounds great. And music is always an "emotional amplifier" so if it's well done as to produce a certain feeling it can have a great effect in commercials or stuff like that. Same thing happens in movies: you would be surprised how much the atmosphere of a certain scene can change by only switching it's music.

Yep, FO4 has been out long enough for walkthroughs to be posted on youtube.  I've seen the meat of it already- while FO3 is more than the sum of its parts I'd say that FO4 is a large collection of 3/5 or 4/5 open world experiences.  I would give FO3 a 4.5/5 or 4/5 and 5/5 as a whole.  As mentioned prior, it feels derivative of FO3 with a lot of re-hash.  However, it has some cool concepts (albeit not fully realized), like the Institute.

The film "Gladiator", "Kingdom of Heaven" and "The Dark Knight" comes to mind (esp. the latter).  A lot of the dialogue in the other two would be much muted without the Zimmer soundtrack.

Yep, certainly- it seems like a first rate soundtrack can make an otherwise average scenes intense in impact and even rescue a sub-par scene.

^ Definitely! Most people don't pay much attention to a movie's music because well, it's not supposed to be the center of attention but a reinforcement to the image. But when studying we had to do an assignment of analyzing a movie's music of our choice (I did LOTR The Two Towers), and since then I always pay attention to the soundtrack and the effect it generates.

And Zimmer is a great composer; he has done many memorable ones. Pirates of the Caribbean comes to mind. and Interstellar.

AND THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER!!

It took me forever to complete this one but it's finally done. Literally months of work, but I think the results are up for it. A friend helped me out with the piano on this one.

So...! I present you my cover of Queen's BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

They're all reasonably resistant

Any pizza that doesn't have weird ingredients like pineapple or things like that

So plastic cups they are

I hate pineapple in my pizza but would gladly substitute that with bacon!
