^ Oh, good song! I didn't knew that one.

Ya, I didn't either until 2-3 years ago when a local radio station where I used to live played Helden instead of Heroes it's really good

I'm listening some stuff from his new album. So powerful considering the circumstances.
@Prettyphile did you listen to this one? And saw the video?
It's clear he knew this was going to be his last work...

I did, and cried like a baby.
That's not the way I wanted to remember him
It also brought up a lot of memories of my own father getting sick and dying of cancer. Bowie and Dad looked identical towards the end ![]()

^ Well, we could say he IS David Bowie, since David Bowie's real name was David Jones.

Oh that sound terrible, Pretty!
Fuck cancer... such a horrible thing.

Just finished a new song!
(I think. If I don't decide to add another section to it)

Amazing vistas my friend!
I love how modern Santiago has become on it's skyline alone over the past 20 years ![]()
And from the looks of the brush, seems like you are having some warm weather now eh? ![]()
Oh, and how many km that time? ![]()

It's been having quite an evolution, and there's lots of new building in process too.
Terrible heat wave here
35º for today and same thing tomorrow. Yesterday it was 32º.
Oh, not so much. Only 53 km
Going up different hills there 4 times each though.

All u need is a few supertalls in a cluster and u have yourself a world class skyline!
Not too bad then, tell me when it hits 40C or over
But hey, you got the summer u wanted ![]()
How are your legs still attached to ur body? ![]()

Too many earthquakes here for that
35ºC is already too much for me
I just went out and it's terrible outside.
That's an excellent question

You'd be surprised how well tall structures are engineered to hold up during earthquakes. I would prefer tall vs a low-rise building during a good size shaker ![]()
What is your ideal heat range then? ![]()
I don't have an answer yet! ![]()

Well our taller buildings resisted the 2010 earthquake with no issues at all. Torre Costanera was still in construction but Titanium building had absolutely no troubles.
From 22º to 27º or so would be ideal. Over 30º it starts to become excessive

Ah yes the Torre Costanera. I remember sharing updates with you as it was being constructed
Even though I know you live in Santiago and can see it anytime u want
One of my fav buildings in South America
And yep, chances are no issue in the future when big earthquakes hit. That building was made to sway and move. Ugh, I can only imagine that sea sickness feeling people must feel when it sways during an earthquake ![]()
Hopefully you get some cooler temps. You are getting much too close to 40C bud ![]()

Yes, I can see it from my window
Like most buildings here it's well constructed to stand earthquakes. It's much better than it sways than it falls
Apparently on Tuesday the temps will be more normal.

Nice view then sir ![]()
Agreed to the fullest degree possible
I hope another supertall goes up soon in your region. Although I have not seen any such news for Santiago in it's respective topic.
Ah okay, well hang in there and maybe some nice ice cream until then
I wonder, you a fan of ice cream and if so what flavors? ![]()

No, no new super tall projects for now. And I don't know if there's going to be any in the near future.
Not really a fan of ice cream. I have once in a while but it's very uncommon.

You crazy.
10C to -10C (without winchill) suits me the best. Anything over double digits positive I start to hate.
