I haven't yet seen a spider in the apartment. I have nothing to worry about

I promise you they're there.... and they can see you right now

About Flavor Town, I'll quote myself:
On 5 de mayo de 2016 at 11:50 AM, Stormbringer said:That'd be difficult because I have a Pink Floyd one on the process already and then 4 more to be done after a survey I did on Facebook.
And also like 5 more original songs on the process too.

Another new/old one. This one was written between late December 2007 and early January 2008 and it was also recorded back in the day but in really bad quality.
So here it is on it's new version
Australis
The song that had me suffering with the guitar solos
(And of all my songs this is definitely where it's easier to spot the main influence...
)
I hope you like it!!
I liked the solos

How are your dam fingers still attached to you dude?
Freaking impressive guitar skills amigo! ![]()
FYI, those solos reminded me of my old school days playing MegaMan ![]()
And thanks for breaking my glass cup ![]()

I'd like to know
Thank you! But those two solos took me pretty much a whole day to record them
So that is probably the top of my guitar skill for now.
I guess there's some Heavy Metal in that music? Many games' music have that influence. Like the first Doom games for example (actually I think that game could be one of the reasons I like that kind of music).
I don't even sing that high on this song! ![]()

So video games were your inspiration sir?
But yes, some games do have a heavy metal theme to their music
Still high though ![]()

No! Not at all
But I played the original Doom game when I was like 9 or 10 and that game's music is pure Heavy Metal (though in awful MIDI sounds
) and it could be possible that that had some influence on me liking that kind of music. Or maybe not, but there's the possibility.
Actually, the first time that I listened to Metallica's first album this song sounded strangely familiar:
When I played again Doom years later I understood why:
Yeah, it's still pretty high

I wrote this in the other thread.
Your axe work for this song is amazing! ![]()

Good vocals too.
I like the double bass drums too.

Thanks!!
I basically spent 2 days in those guitar solos
But all the guitars on this song have their thing. The rhythm ones also needed some practice

This is so badass....thought you might appreciate this.

^ Awesome! ![]()

Well, I uploaded it again
But this time with some improvements.
I recorded the main vocals again and added a a couple of backing vocals towards the end of the song to give more dynamism to the arrangement.
I found the first two verses and the main vocals of the slow section to be a little out of tune. Probably most of you didn't even noticed but it bothered my ear. And I ended recording the whole thing again anyway because I'm that obsessive
So here it is:
AUSTRALIS

^ Thank you!! ![]()

^You're welcome! ![]()
You keep posting your songs and I'll keep listening. ![]()
