And once again, because they're the greatest ever, this is the second The Beatles cover:
Now one their most complex songs in terms of structure and odd rhythms, and also one of my very favorite Beatles songs:
Happiness Is A Warm Gun

Great job on the Beatles covers! ![]()

You should cover the Offspring.

Great job on the song sir!
Really enjoyed this one amigo! Everything flowed so smoothly, I didn't pick up so much as an odd blip of a transition...it's like you have been doing this for years or something ![]()

Well, that shows Lennon's genius, on how a song with so many different sections and rhythm changes still flows as one piece. And all that in les than 3 minutes.
And me doing this for years may have some effect too ![]()
Yes! There's a lot more, and many more coming

As promised, now it's time for some Punk!
By The only band that matters: The Clash, this is White Riot
Feel free to share it!
I hope you like it

Being Monday, that means new video!
"YOU WANTED THE BEST, YOU GOT THE BEST!..."
This is a collaboration with a friend, who played guitar and did backing vocals.
By "The hottest band in the world": KISS, this is Detroit Rock City:

I love the bass line from this song
It's wonderful Gene wasn't the best bass player ever but he had some great bass lines over the years
Good job

Thanks!!
The bass line is great! Simple but fun to play and it drives pretty much the whole song. But it's not THAT easy to play it with fingers (Gene plays it with a pick).

IMO i like to see bassist using their fingers more than a pick
Some guys such as Lemmy wouldn't have been great with fingers so totally pick
Side note: when i tried to learn guitar I learned I'm a lefty and it really fucked me up
But when I tried a bit of bass I didn't like using the pick but I was too slow with my fingers on my right hand

It depends on the style, but I prefer finger style bass too. And pretty much all I've recorded has been played with fingers. For only a couple of things i used a pick, but it was because I didn't have enough speed in the right hand fingers back then. Now I could probably do it without the pick.
I have a couple of friends who are lefties but play guitar as right handed (and they both play really good btw).

Awesome job on White Riot & Detroit Rock City! ![]()
Love me some KISS.

But today's vocals recording session didn't work out...

And here's the new one!
One more time it's a collaboration with a friend, who played harmonica
@Stromboli1 you asked for something by The Doors on your list, so here you go!
Roadhouse Blues

Awesome job dude! ![]()

It was a harder sounding version than the original, but still had the blues elements. ![]()

It would be awesome if you covered Christian Woman by Type O Negative. I love this song especially at 7:15 till the end of the song, it's basically 2 songs.

Indeed it sounds harder/heavier, and that was the idea! Still I used less overdrive on the guitars than I usually do.

Lol there's no way I can do such song
Or anything by Type O Negative for that matter.
First this song is too synthesizer driven. And second and most importantly: I may be able to reach quite low notes but this guy was an actual bass. I can reach baritone notes at most. This is absolutely impossible for me to sing. And to up-tune a Type O Negative song (the couple of tones I may need to) would be killing it.
