Chevelle is actually a really good band, but it's just so hard to capture the essence, mood, and tone of the original.
Chevelle has a really good musical catalog imo. There are harder guitar riff songs than these, but this is just to get you started.

Yeah the singing is much better in the videos you posted!
I like "Jars" better than "Saturdays" although in reality in prefer Saturdays over jars ![]()

Neither did I! I truly thought he was going to keep fighting until the end. So many funny tweets though. Like Samantha Bee's "Shouldn't Ted Cruz have been forced to carry his unviable campaign to term?" and this other one I can't remember where it's from, "God told Ted to run for President. Did God change his mind?"
Trump is so going to wreak not only our country but also the Republican party! And they know it too. Again, they created this mess now they have to reside in it. This goes to show you have to be careful what you wish for b/c you might just get it.
I guess Trump was right, he is "lying Ted" after all ![]()
This is why Trump will not win in the primaries. He's going to fragment the Republican party and well, that's basically handing it to the democrats.

I saw this on twitter. So wrong but very funny in so many ways ![]()

That's what some of my co-workers think too. I am not as optimistic nor do I want to jinx anything. I hope you guys are right though b/c that would be the lesser of 2 evils.

There is no doubt that there are many variables that can easily swing this election to either side, but, the amount of animosity between all the different groups within the Republican party is sure to hurt Trumps chances. The fact he is alienating every group is not helping either. Then we have the young voting block. If they come out in droves then the Republican choice has no chance. This is one election that has primed the interest of many and well, a national embarrassment all the same time too. It's why I hope Trump doesn't even stand a chance in November, we just can't afford to have that imbecile in office.

Again, the GOP caused this messed and not they have to deal with it. Part of it is instead of proving who has the biggest dick, Jeb, Marco, Ted & John could have joint forces to try to take down Trump. I am not sure would they be able to but at least they would slow down the momentum of Trump's campaign and messaging. Instead, they all decided to stay self-serving and refused to be strategic & logical
When they finally decided to joint force it was already way too late---train left the station long time ago! They made their bed now that have to sleep in it. I hope this is a wake up call for GOP moving forward but that is being optimistic
I honestly think this all is just the beginning. Shit won't totally hit the fan until the end of the election regardless of who wins. Trump fanatics (more on this in next sentence) supporters will start some sorta shit either way. I don't remember in which publication but I think it was either NYT or Newsweek they mentioned Trump doesn't have supports---he has fans. Because they are fans they are more likely to support his BS regardless if it benefits them or not. He could say "All low-educated white males are scums!" and he would still be supported. That was how he was able to get away with attacking McCain. Fandom is heavily based on admiration & emotions and logic doesn't always play a huge role.
I actually don't think he is an imbecile because most of the shit that comes out of his mouth he does not believe. Consider how many times he has contradicted himself. Also, I have followed him way before he decided to run for President and I could tell you he isn't an imbecile. Is he a self-serving, manipulative, scheming, pompous, self-centered, self-absorbed, sociopathic, douchebag? ABOSLUTELY!!! But a dumbass he is not. He knows what exactly he is doing and what he wants to achieve. He just doesn't care about those it negatively affects. Also most of the shit he spits out are regurgitation of what he heard on conservative talk radio.
If you think about whether Trump wins the election or not, he still wins! Even if Hilary or Bernie beats him, with all the attention and [free] publicity he has gotten it just further elevates his brands and celebrity-hood. He's got all to gain and nothing to lose. I might not like him but I cannot deny he is knows how tom play the game.

Bill Maher is a bigot who thinks bigotry is alright if it comes from a leftist POV.
He can fuck right off as far as I'm concerned.

He criticizes the Left too but he often focuses on the Right b/c they are an easier target and they give him more material to work with
But I hear you about him not being as tough on the Left when they exhibit bigotry ![]()
I like Bill but some of his opinions/jokes are prejudice and does cross the line into bigotry
As I told Iluvadrianalima he has toned it down a bit. I think it is b/c he was getting death threats

^ Now you see why I make the comments I do about this country as a whole and its people?
And he's exactly as you called him so you can pile that on with the imbecile comment because that man is not capable of thinking outsides his own ego and selfish interest and the fact he acts like a 15yr old freshman girl, constantly praising on how popular he is and whether people like him or not really says a lot about the idiot he is even if he has succeeded in a few key areas with the help of rich daddy and his money.

Nope, you were quite vague in your post so I wasn't too sure what you were referring to with his bigotry but yep, he makes it no secret that he has issues with Islam and all religion for that matter. Someone has to call out the truth on certain aspects with that cult that needs to be completely washed out. Do I agree with his direct approach all the time, of course not, but someone needs to call out the BS when it hits the fan.

Here is a question for you. If people chooses to be ignorant would they still be considered stupid or dumb? That's how I feel about a lot of the people in our country (mainly those w/ Right-side POVs). Their superiority complexes, false sense of complacency, arrogance, self-absorbness, self-centerness and narrow-mindedness get in the way of their general awareness and their willingness to take time to understand, be knowledgeable & well-informed
All the information they need to be well-informed citizens are easily accessible. There seems to be lack of motivation to do so. I think Trump getting this far in the game kinda illustrates the point about so many Americans

The Right never fails in providing ridiculousness to poke fun of
They totally set themselves up to be ridiculed. If they stop being such dumbasses people wouldn't target them as much!

I think being critical of topics like religion, culture or human rights are a slippery slope. Combined all three, like when it comes to Islam, there is no winning because of the multiple layers. The lines among the three are very heavily blurred and skewed. It easier for some to be Islamophobic than to take the time and make the effort to untangle things and define the lines better. With Bill he seems to have challenges and the willingness to accept this because his arguments are often focused on the human rights aspect. Part of the reason could be he presents himself as anti-religion. However I do think his presentations are sometime problematic because they do cross line into bigotry, mockery, narrow-mindedness, arrogance and being disrespectful. I don't think he means to but it does not excuse the fact he does

As we all know, Bill is a comedian which also adds to the distaste many people have with him for the fact that society today is very much over the PC boundary than just a few short years ago, so that along with the fact some people just can't take a joke gives people the impression that Bill is completely arrogant and divisive. Many are quick to forget he is a comedian by nature. But pushing that aspect aside, Bill is straight to the point with all religions, in this case Islam, and how its created this pervasive culture of human rights issues and of course the disparity women have in many parts of the middles east and abroad in both economic and social issues. So yes, he's critical with religion first which by default will cross into culture and the eventual human rights issues. Once again he makes it no secret that he has a deep disdain for Islam in general for being the root of many social issues in many cultures today from events that have transpired over centuries (just like Christianity). If Bill starts to sugar coat topics, give in to peoples sensitivities, not remain consistent with his views, I say he has no backbone and he isn't the liberal he claims to be. People tend to hate and dislike those who point out certain realities at the expense of the general view of a group or system, oh well... they can get over themselves since at least Bill is capable of admitting to faults and giving change a chance.

I agree with you, in some ways society has crossed "over the PC boundary." However the concept of political correctness, its meaning & what it entitles, is very flawed. Let's revisit this topic at another time b/c I don't think the issue with Bill and the topic at hand is about PC-ness. Just b/c he is a comedian is not an acceptable excuse for him to say whatever the fuck he wants. Crossing the line and being offensive is exactly just THAT no matter how it is viewed or spinned. Some of the shit he has said did cross the line of human decency and into the bigotry & douchebag territory---many of his devoted fans agree. I don't think those were his intentions but nonetheless he did do it. His root message and points are extremely valid & powerful that they do need to be addressed in order for progress. However his message often gets lost by his presentation. In fact it often conveys the contrary. He has toned it down and been more focused & direct recently. For those reasons people are understanding and receiving his message better. He has this great platform to promote social change and the only way any change could be made is if others could clearly hear what he is saying ![]()
