Yup, Jamie confirmed there won't be full nudity.

This movie will suck so bad

I agree that Dakota looks alot older than Anastasia, but looks wise, I honestly think of her looking like Dakota, just slightly younger.

Jamie Dornan naked was gonna save it. But now... IDK

At the very least I hope the movie has some hot scenes between the two.

New trailer, gives me some hope it will at least be decent. Still agree with ya'll Dakota still looks a bit too old for Ana, but shes still about the same feature-wise to what I had in mind for her.

meh..I'm still not convinced. But I'll watch it anyways.  Jamie is just too perfect not to watch... (But his acting skills though...  in the end I'll be more satisfied with Dakota as Anastasia)

Have you ever watched The Fall? Despite being super ultra mega extremely hot, Jamie isn't too bad of an actor

Actually Christian was 27 in the books. Sean is 25 and Jamie is 32. So... either or would have fit. Chances are it was more acting chops, then looks that booked Jamie the role, but either way it should be interesting.

And an Ellen skit where she so brilliantly replaces Dakota to play Anastasia

Yeah. Though I think they would have looked weirder with Dakota. As she looks older and Sean looks imo younger...

Rita Ora as Mia Grey has got to be easily the worst casting choice o.O ... And that wig looks so goddamn fake, seriously what were they thinking? Mia was one of my favorite characters from the book.

Was this casting done by the same idiots people who did the Twilight movies? The only two casting choices I kind of relate to the book are Christian and Elliot and I'm not sure either of the guys act that well even if they both are extremely handsome

So I saw the movie last night and here are my thoughts on it ...

It was a lot better than I expected, based on reviews I was expecting something like a lifetime movie lol, but it was better than I thought. It's of course a movie that has a lot of room for improvement but overall as an adaptation is an okay movie.

Both Dakota & Jamie do a good job, however Dakota's lip biting looks so fake and unnatural that for the next movie they should just avoid it, other than that she was good and played the role okay, she made Anastacia a little bit funnier than I imagined with the books, but considering they had to take out the whole "Inner Goddess" thing I guess they needed something to give the movie some comedy moments. Jamie does a good job too but his American accent is just bad, like really really bad and he needs to work in it for the next movies, other than that he was great.

As far as the plot goes, the first 10 to 15 minutes feel very rushed but I understand they just want to get it all out of the way. They also didn't explore Christian's story enough, the movie was focused too much in Anastacia and they failed to show some background details from Christian than IMO were very important and if you didn't read the books some things are hard to understand. Now the sex scenes, I think were good but I'm still annoyed by the lack of Jamie nudity considering I had to look at Dakota's boobs and pubic hair countless times, this is a movie aimed to women so I'm not understanding why showing so much female nudity and zero from Jamie o.o, but the amount of sex was right and the scenes were done well (Y) They do cut some stuff but heck the movie runs 122 minutes already so I understand why they did it, what I don't understand is why they added some scenes that don't happen in the books and why they changed some dialogues? Nothing too bad tho.

Now for the rest of the casting, the woman playing Kate looks so much older than Anastacia & everyone else that is just laughable, she also doesn't have Kate's sass tbh, they need to replace her like today, same for the guy who plays José who I thought was supposed to be super attractive, well the guy who got the part is average at best and has zero charm. Everyone else was just alright.

I give the movie 6/10, it's enjoyable if you liked the books, if you didn't read the books you'll either love it or hate it. If they improve some things then Darker & Freed should be a lot better.

They dropped Sam Taylor-Johnson for the next movies, God Bless!

Apparently they dropped her for toning down the movie so much, I think it's a good call, if she did not want to deal with something so explicit why even taking this job?

Have they picked a replacement for her yet?

Riight, because you think the company is dumb enough to not have signed Jamie & Dakota for all three movies? No way, unless those people are the biggest idiots in the industry they have Jamie & Dakota locked for Darker & Freed.

Also, Amelia knew about the movies before they married so I doubt she is the one bitching about this
