A man who escaped serious injury during an explosion during a series of terror attacks across Paris explains how his mobile phone saved him from being hit in the head by flying shrapnel. The man was just hanging up his now shattered phone outside of the Stade de France when the bomb went off but was hit by shrapnel in both the abdomen and foot. A soccer match was underway at the stadium when the attack happened, but the crowd was eventually evacuated late on Friday evening.
