Actually, Atkinson is primarily famous for her acting. She became a celebrity in the UK through the soap opera Hollyoaks.

Now, I'm not saying she's Meryl Streep and I know she's mostly famous nowadays for scantily clad photoshoots, but she did rise to prominence as an actress.

I think you're trivializing the cocaine thing, Q. Freedom of speech has nothing to do with it. Nor do I believe anyone is going to start using cocaine over a BZ discussion. The reason I brought it up is because we have some members actively condoning (and borderline promoting) an act that is both illegal and potentially very harmful.

Lets say the discussion turned to self-mutilation, and we had few members who condone that and said it was not a big deal, is that the kind of speech this forum wants to be associated with?

I'm not saying serious discussion about drugs does not have a place on this forum, but what was going on in Fox thread was rather trivializing the dangers of using hard drugs.

I wasn't considering banning or warning anyone over what was said, but perhaps we could have steered the thread back into the right direction?

I am not saying we should censor the topic of drug use, but I do NOT think we should give the impression of us condoning it by letting certain post slide. Drugs really fucks you and the shit around you up (excuse my French.) I don't think it is neccessary to warn or ban anyone. Like Herve said, just try to steer members back into the right direction

Even though she is famous and has done other things, I just think its a problem waiting to happen. People are bound to post inappropriate items in the thread. I would say delete but lets see what the others got to say?

I was thinking about maybe a pinned topic to help models get ID'ed, like "20 steps to getting your model Id'ed" or something like that since the forum has gotten so large now :| . If anyone has other ideas I'm open or if the anwer is "no" my feelings won't be hurt , I just figured I'd bring it up .

Actually I was discussing with a SEO professional yesterday regarding the layout of BZ. He was inquiring about why the VS shows have so much space on the front page when it is lightly trafficed. He was suggesting folding that back into some other category.

I guess I'll leave that to Pinks and you guys since I'm not a huge VSFS fan .

The classification of some girls is complicated. Like Gemma Atkinson, started out as an actress, but is now more famous for "glamour" type photoshoots. Elisabetta Canalis, started out as a showgirl, then moved a bit into modeling, now she's an actress supposedly. Yet she is still listed in the models section. Or even Olga Kurylenko...

Also, on the status of project "Other Ladies of Note" sub-forum, we have 3 yays I believe, Me, RoninGrave, Maddog, can everyone else give a thumbs up or down ?

I guess a subheading or description could look like: Women both outside of the world of fashion, acting, music and sports as well as women who can't be pinned down to one specific trade. Royalty, Politicians, Assorted members of the media, Hosts, Comediens, Artists in all fields outside of music, Glamour models, Graveur models and more!"

Hope that's not too long or too cheesy, but that's subject to tweaking and input of course .

Just one thing, we'll probably do best to go through all of the babe sub-forums and move some girls in there once we've made the change. Too many girls in modeling that would fit much better in Other Ladies of Note.

I have no objection to the name change, but I am not a fan of naming it "Other Ladies of Note." It sounds weird and doesn't flow well
