Apart from Barbara, I like Nina, Bo, Hannah F., irrespectively to the actual photos.

Rose is not my fave, but I like this shoot of hers.

Why i'm not surprised about Barbara  But yeah, she always looks good imo. When you have her face, it's hard to make it wrong. Though, her shoot is looking the same than the previous one ... In that sense it's a bit disappointing too.

Nina looks good too. I like her blonde hair lol.

What about Kate ?

I'm glad Bianca is in.

Kate and Hailey - I'm neutral about them.

I don't get the fame of Kate - was her only one movie part (so far) that good?

I love Kate actually. Her and Genevieve Morton are the reasons why i joined BZ awhile ago. The leaked pics has been something so lame. And i was sad she stoped her career because of it, and more. I was just glad to see her enjoying the set again

I've never heard about or seen any leaked pictures of hers, I'm not into her, so  I don't know what you are writing of.

I think Kate might become a Marilyn Monroe -like character, but she has to show her quality in movies for that.

You seem to like soundtracks - director John Carpenter used to write the music to his movies.

Last month I collected about 30 plus books covering various aspects of the battles.  I haven't read about North Africa for about 8 years or so.

Definitely a very interesting war- particularly dramatic and even on both sides.  I was reading the Rommel papers last week.

The Desert terrain makes the battles less about numerical superiority, but more about generalship and combat skill.

Yes, it's a whole topic by itself.

The struggle and journey of Rommel and his Afrika Korps is more remarkable than I had previously thought.

Why ?

I had thought that Rommel and Panzer Army Afrika was an overrated legend but now that I've dug deeper (especially with the history of the 8th  Panzer Regiment), apparently they accomplished a string of outstanding feats while being vastly outnumbered and outequipped by the British 8th Army.  Rommel was able to keep the Allies on the run for two years and ran his war machine on captured materials.  The German high command never expected him to do much more than tie down allied troops, let alone try to conquer Egypt.  So they gave him only 3, and then at the end..4 small German mobile divisions.

The Afrika Korps itself was really quite small (18,000, then 40,000 troops in 1942) The Italian component, with limited capability, was the other 2/3rds of the troops.   The various commanders of the 8th Army had up to 210,000 plus troops at their disposal and several times more equipment.

In May-July 1942 Rommel took 60,000 allied prisoners of war with only small losses of his own.  He was only defeated when PzA Afrika was so outnumbered by the Allied buildup and war against his supply lines that they could no longer resist the tide at El-Alamein.

Basically, his story is that of a military epic..and that is why it is viewed with such popularity.
