Was it for VS? They had the "perfect formula" with Kendull and Gigi but they still had their worst ratings ever. Just because a girl has a lot of 15 yo fans who like to ZOMG SHE IS THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST!!!! on Instagram/Twitter doesn't mean people will actually buy what the said girls are selling  I'm sure SI will be thrilled to have more IG followers but I won't necessarily translate into more money on their pockets. 

I've always felt like social networks are just too overrated. Just look at Adele, she barely uses them or has any followers yet she shits all over people who post 24/7 and have a lot more social medial presence than she does. Or even with models, Gisele and Adriana are not the most followed in social media but they both are known to bring in the money for pretty much everything they touch.

OMG I was just thinking the same thing! It would be awesome if something like the Miss Universe thing happen. They first say it is Gigi and then take it back and give it to Babs!!!

Well like it or not that's the formula they tend to us, that comes straight from the horses mouth. They like winning, they like what's "it", they like what's popular to be on their covers.
