Irina's best shoot since her cover for sure, she really killed it. My favorite by far, of course since she is my favorite period that was always going to be the case unless there was a Madagascar level make up disaster.

Nina- not as good as her previous years imo, still solid though

Bo- can't argue with her body but I'm not into her face

Sofia- killer body, slightly better face than Bo, would like to see her come back

Rose- Love her body, hair and personality. Would've been a better surprise cover girl than Hailey

Hailey- meh, I'll never understand how she got the cover

Erin- all I can see is the hair, all I'll ever be able to see is the hair

Chanel- she is solid

Barbara- love her, she is so beautiful, but she could've been fitter, hope she gets in better shape for next year

Emily- I always like her SI work

Hannah F- her body is insane

Hannah D- didn't need the boob job but she still looks good

Didn't look at the others, they can all go away

This is miami beach. I've never been to miami beach but I got to believe there were random women who looked better in swimsuits than the cover girls.

These are my fav shots of the shoot.

Malta had the best pops of colour of the shoot. Most energy. I am not a fan of Samantha but some of her shots were actually quite stunning. Especially when she isn't looking so trashy. These are my fav shots from Malta. (SI employ Ben Watts for the whole issue next time).

Turks & Caicos was an underwhelming location but James did more unique and risky types of poses that weren't typical SI and I kind of liked that.

Tahiti another meh location and doesn't help that Yu is horrible. But there was some shots I really liked.

And last was Zanzibar. One of the best locations but the overexaggetated filter and colouring ruined a lot of the shots. I didn't like anything of Chrissy or Erin's shots.

Theres a point in this interview that they ask Hailey a question and Ashley jumps in before she can. I find it a bit obnoxious but I can't knock her because she's seizing her moment like she says Elle and Tyra told her to. She also says that she wasn't retouched, in that case her body is pretty nice.

It's funny because, between the two of them, I actually think Hailey has the much more interesting personality. Ashley is just more confident and outspoken.

However, because Ashley is more hopped up and because the "big girl was forced to develop a personality; stereotypical blonde model is boring" narrative is very popular, I can see Hailey getting pigeon-holed and stigmatised as just another bimbo.

Very unfortunate because I like both of them.

To me, very few of these girls stand out personality-wise.

I would say that the exceptions in the recent years are: Chrissy (though not necessarily in a good way), Nina, Kate

The rest just seem to be interchangeable "Oh I'm just so happy to be here" model types.

I guess Alyssa had a tiny bit of a personality as well, in terms of it standing out.

And Gen and Natasha had a bit of awkwardness that could be mistaken for quirky charm.

I was just being a bit facetious. Kate’s opinion is the opposite of the guys on Opie & Jim Norton show whereas Nina didn’t really seem to disagree with them. The video clip is not on YouTube anymore though!
