Ashley is surely a cool girl, but once again, it's not against her, it's against the ideology ! 

Who can pretend her cover was pretty or visualy attractive ? SI is something extreamly sexualized ...and i feel like a good 0% of sexual attraction for that ...

Am i guilty or suspect for that ? Her body is not my idea of the concept of HEALTHY ... 

The fact to sell this cover as healthy is something under schizophrenic IMO. And it show how much our actual societies are like this nowadays. 

Just b/c we don't agree doesn't mean we can't understand each other's POV  Understanding and agreement aren't always correlated If we all agreed life would be boring, mundane and obsolete.

I do understand, and to some extent, agree with @jj3 & @Lyla's points. They do have some valid points My opinions are more towards one side of the spectrum but they are definitely not at the extreme endpoint.

Like @Kevork89 said, let's agree to disagree. We are not going to sway each other much by trying to convince others of our beliefs & opinions. We all are different. We go & work with beliefs, opinions and rules that has worked well for us as individuals so far. What works for one person might not work for another. Like I said before, it isn't always black or white. Often there are a lot of gray areas. 

For those who feels strongly about this topic, have you considered writing a letter or sending an email to SI? I am totally serious! We could exhaust the topic by talking about it endlessly but nothing is going to change or improve if no real  action is taken

Thanks Pink, you're right, it's never black and white.

I don't have a messiah complex, so I won't write to SI or anything else just to try to change the way American people think. As this case shows it's not so easy. And it's not my responsibility. And tbh, I don't care. It's just really sad.

And just for the record, I only kept talking about the topic, because my point was being called stupid and ridiculous. Well, it's always easier to be cynical than to be understanding and open to different opinions. 

My lesson is learned, it's clear for me now, that calling someone fat is a HUGE insult over the ocean. I didn't know that. I don't undestand it, but fine, I accept it. I didn't change my mind about what I call healthy though.

I still don't think Ashley is "fat" the way you see it but I can understand why you don't like how SI is promoting "the healthy" image when that's not even the purpose of a swimsuit magazine and it's just a buzz.

^ We already know it's rigged, same for ROTY and the cover and with IMG sponsoring the magazine this year we know it's bound to be IMG girls who take it all home, Ashley already got the cover, ROTY will be hopefully Barbara and not Tanya because ew o.o and I'm pretty sure DLO is the only IMG girl on the Model Search? So she should really have this on the bag.

No one is going to get mad if Tanya wins ROTY because we know it's rigged  I think she is 100% tragic but at this point it's a matter of who has the better team behind her, just look at Kelly who was almost as tragic and still won last year because IMG felt like pushing her. It's laughable that she was able to beat Erin who had like ten times more people backing her.

I actually think Tanya could win, she's a nobody compared to Barbara and Ashley so they are both for sure coming back next year IMO, i can see IMG cutting a deal for Tanya so she gets at least another year. I say Barbara, Ashley, and another one will be back next year i can't see SI bringing back Bo, Tanya and Sofia all together considering none of them was exactly a hit with the audience or the press.
