Part of her public persona is to say that she has dyslexia and talk about it. Whether or not this is true I don't know. I have the well worn and successful habit of not trusting US media personalities established or bludgeoning at all. They have to create and maintain their persona for their own agenda.
I have often seen her use a self-proclaimed victim status (bullying, dyslexia, stereotypes, etc.) to draw attention to herself and create a personality in social media and her TV/magazine/website appearances. I often see comments of persons below that actually get guided by this sort of thing.
Well, if she has dyslexia, then sorry Charlotte. But I still dislike her, and I would even like to see 2 Genevieve Mortons in SI instead of her.

Well, what I am saying is I don't know how much of this stuff she is doing is real. She could be a college graduate in her late 20s who's playing the game. Whatever she is doing- it's part of the business of self-promotion and it has clearly helped her land jobs. It seems that she would not have gotten this far if she didn't play up the super-bimbo act. She also plays a super-bimbo in that new Redneck movie.
As a model she and her agent have clearly managed her career in an asymmetrical way.

Sure she looks more like Hefner's future wife then a traditional model, but if she's good enough for GUESS, and SI is taking a look at her I don't see why she can't be in the magazine. Sam Hoopes has been in the magazine, same with Chrissy 5head Teigen and neither of them are that great looking... and lets not even get into Kate Upton and her second and third appearances in the magazine... they're okay, but Charlotte bad.

I am pretty sure Charlotte is in b/c SI needs to increase their "readership" and ROI. Charlotte is recognizable by most of SI's target and would draw people in. When it comes down to it SI is a business and their goal is to make $$$.
I am also quite sure Chrissy is getting a solo cover. If not, she will be strongly promoted and on the forefront.
