Carlo Ancelotti had his confidence further renewed that the season will turn out positively after watching Marco Storari and Ronaldo make positive debuts

Carlo Ancelotti had this to say to Milan Channel after Milan-Livorno:

Storari has always done really well, he played an excellent 90 minutes. Ronaldo did well too even if for a shorter time but on three or four occasions he managed to do great things. The squad is almost complete now, we will have everyone available in a few weeks. Berlusconi has congratulated the team because they were entertaining; the objective is not only to win but entertain, so it's normal that we suffer a bit.

It started off as a wonderful day with respect shown in all the stadiums for the tragedy that has hit everyone. It was a tough game but played in a good way. The important thing at the end was the result and although we did not get forward as much it went well, there was good progress along the flanks from the full-backs, good passages of play and so on.

Marek's three goals have given us nine points. He's a defender who is doing very well and also scoring. Everyone was waiting for Ronaldo to score but they don't need to, he has great talent. He had a couple of good chances. The championship still has a long way to go so we'll pass judgement at the end. At present, we are two points from fourth place and we have to be optimistic.

Ronaldo marker Galante: He'll prove great AC Milan signing

Livorno defender Fabio Galante says new signing Ronaldo looked sharp on debut during last night's victory for AC Milan.

Galante man-marked Ronaldo during the Brazilian's second-half cameo and said this morning: "Do I think he is thin? Bah, of course he is in different shape compared to when I played with him (at Inter) or when he was with Barcelona ... but Milan have made an excellent signing - he is still one of the best in the world.

"Close to goal he is calm and one of the deadliest finishers in the game. Even now, when he's still not in top shape, he made two very impressive accelerations during the game. You can just imagine how good he will be when he's at peak fitness."

Kaka: AC Milan best place for rejuvenated Ronaldo

Kaka believes AC Milan can help new teammate Ronaldo to fall in love with the game again.

Ronaldo made his debut in Sunday's victory over Livorno and Kaka said: "It was beautiful to see Ronaldo on the field with Milan. I saw him many times sad and down in the dumps, but here at Milan, now, I see him happy and excited about playing again.

"He already did some beautiful things in the game yesterday and we hope to see also his first goal soon."

RONALDO SHIRT AUCTION FOR MILAN FOUNDATION

Starting from Friday 16 until February 23, there will be an auction on ACMilan.com of the Milan shirt worn by Ronaldo on his debut for the club, autographed by the player. The auction has been orginised in conjunction with Radio Italia and the proceeds will go towards Milan Foundation projects.

MILAN FAMILY LAUNCH!

MILAN - Yesterday evening, in the presence of president Berlusconi, Adriano Galliani and the squad at Gold restaurant in Milan, the book Milan Family was launched. With a good 120 pages and 200 photographs, with text both in Italian and English, the book was published by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Inside there are photos of the Milan players with their families, children, wives and girlfriends and it will be on sale over the next few days, with part of the proceeds going to the Milan Foundation.
