That's good. 

No need to act like it's the apocalypse, but nothing wrong with having a few items you may not normally have. For example, I decided to get some masks recently. I'm not wearing them yet, but I'm glad I have them. Even if I don't use them for this, maybe I will one day for a strong flu one year.

People in general are idiots too and it wouldn't surprise me one bit that they did dumb stuff to spread the virus.

The issue on the back end is will the agricultural sector be able to plant, grow, and distribute food so there's no food shortages months later.
