Good video on the canceled Alien 5.  If this was made, it would have certainly been better than Alien Covenant.  Recently, a lot of concept art from the project has been released on social media.

another brilliant one, instantly relatable to commuter train/subway riders.  The horror of the mundane is the worst horror of all!

This is a really good RE3 mod. It makes the base game so much better.

This is a super Re2 mod.  It improves the original.  Great!

In re-watching Re2/Re3 and other horror (Eg. Puppet combo) it seems that the 3-D games are missing the sense of claustrophobia and limited movement that is so essential for tension.  The RE2/RE3 remakes, and RE4 etc. have too much room for maneuver compared to the older games.  The Puppet combo indie horror games understand this and, while are first person have extremely narrow maps to the point that it looks ridiculous.  But it is more effective for horror gameplay.

It is also apparent to me now that the RE3 remake was missing an enormous amount of content.  Like 60-70 % of the original isn't there.  The park and clocktower sections are entirely missing and so is a lot of the city.  Instead there was some new content added but the game itself is only a "partial" remake.

So the story has come out that RE3 remake was so short and underdeveloped because the personnel were shifted to developing Re village.  Sad as RE3 is the more action oriented one (while maintaining good horror tension) of the OG's and the most replayable one for me.
