Ake expects Dolores (Deathbringer) to end everyone. It makes me continue to be unsure where the line is between the hosts being awake and the underlining programming from when they were created.

what do you mean ?

According to the end of S1, the "new people" that Ford made his "new narrative" about doesn't seem to be Dolores and her gang but rather the natives. This is a major paradigm shift. Dolores is referred to as "the villian named Wyatt" in S1.  Also, in S1, Ford talks to Teddy and implies that there is supposed to be a conflict between "Wyatt" and Teddy in his new narrative.

I have no idea what to expect with Old William.  In the preview, ford tosses something over to him and it goes through his hand.  There is also this:

This may be the end for Old William.

Interesting theory on the season finale:

Old William will die and be "reborn" again as a host and be reunited with Dolores

I don't know why I deleted that one, I don't remember it.

Sometimes I post when tired or in a hurry and don't like the post after reading them later. Rewording might be a better option in some cases.

initial thoughts: what a long mess of a finale, this season reminds me of "Dark Knight Rises".   It seems to me that the showrunners courageously overreached.   High ambition, lots of interesting ideas, about 20 good scenes... but the whole thing doesn't really jell together as a story and create emotional depth, narrative progression and payoff.  I can't say that I'm looking forward to Season 3 much if this continues.   more later

I watched it but I don't have many thoughts. For some reason the end of the episode made me keep guessing who they would be bringing back for S3.

There were two Dolores' at the end, right?

One Dolores- she swapped bodies

TBH I'm quite disappointed with this season finale and the show in general. I still love S1 though

I wasn't clear enough in my question, but I think I figured it out.

I know Dolores had to switch to the Hale host body in order to leave the park. And I know that she created a new Dolores body at Arnold's house. What confused me was that while Dolores was talking to Bernard in Arnold's house, the Hale host body was watching against the wall and left with Dolores.

Obviously, that Hale body is not another Dolores, but it was not clear who that is. Most likely, just a new entity not associated with the known characters from the show so far.

Also, It's interesting that Stubbs was a host the whole time like Bernard.

I wonder how many years (decades?) in the future that final scene with Host old William was?

Yes, I agree ^^

I don't understand the point of the after-credits scene.
