QuoteTrend Report: 3 Insanely Voguishly Trends Spotted at the Milan Fashion Week
The Milan Fashion Week ended like a whirlwind of unusual trends, sensual seduction techniques and large pink pussy hats. Dolce & Gabbana created an impressive multi-racial parade, while Prada took seduction to a whole new level. Gucci encouraged us all to remain true to our eccentric tendencies and to experiment with loud and bold colours.
It appears that spring summer’17 is going to be a huge fashion fiesta, and if you want to hop on the bandwagon of style, here are all the trends you to stock up:
Colour Me Red
Red coats were flaunted in great abundance, and each collection brought out a unique aspect in styling and designing these glamorously chic beauties. Who doesn’t agree that a red coat is the perfect pop of colour to flaunt on bad hair days, and to drive away those nasty Monday blues? Red has emerged as the hottest outwear colour at the Milan Fashion Week, and the variety is truly irresistible.
Fendi introduce a red hot coat with a voguishly chic cinched up appeal, while Max Mara’s hugely comfy red delight gaped sensually open. Armani has definitely emerged with the most creative reds, and their double-breasted overcoat is nothing less than a must-have for the season. Seriously, a red coat is one powerful fashion staple that can really turn your style statement around, so don’t think about skipping this one out.
Crystal Mesh Obsessions
Haute Couture has welcomed an irresistibly gorgeous new trend that is going to make dressing up for formals all the more exciting and stunning. Crystal mesh is all about romantic femininity, sensual glamour appeal and of course, walking around in such a creation is like creating magic with every step.
Versace presented such breathtakingly sensual slinks that were heavily embellished with crystals, and you just have to drape them around your body to ravish your inner goddess, and enrich her with seductive powers. Dolce & Gabbana had a more royal take on this trend, and their dramatically regal crystal mesh gowns are truly fit for a princess.
But if you’re not a big fan of gowns and maxi dresses, Gucci’s delightfully minimalistic approach with sliver mesh bodysuits is definitely going to strike your fancy.
Dreams of Leather
The Milan Fashion Week was all about luxuriously soft nappa leather, which was made super sleek with an insanely chic polished effect. Leather suits, pencil skirts, cinched up blazers, overcoats and pants are trending super-hot, and these are your trendiest pick for flaunting a whole new, power wardrobe at work.
Jill Sander introduced a series of powerfully smart suits and hip-slung skirts, while Tod’s presented us with an even smarter two piece suit in a subtle shade of caramel.
She also suggested some good topics for future articles.

Thank you! I was working on that VS China article and experienced a lot of glitching on the site, though it was the same time Bellazon was glitching a bit too.
EDIT
So I'm trying to log in and nothing is happening, it shows I'm logged in, but from here I can do nothing

Thanks got it!
MD when you inserted images into the post (not the gallery) how did you get them all to appear the same size like in the trend report post?
I made another post, about Grace Elizabeth
and I want the images to appear larger within the post.

So click the "Add Media" (not sure how you inserted these pictures as they have different options then what im use to). Select your picture or upload, then it should show up pretty small inside of the Post. Then click the image and a little menu bar pops up, click the edit button (pencil) and then in there you should see like thumbnail, large size, original size etc. I chose Original size. Let me know if thats unclear.

I was just looking at the WP Admin site for BZ and it is somewhat different than the ones I use at work. There seems to be less options on the BZ one
This is a sample of the one I use at work:
Would it be helpful if we had more options visible in the menu on the BZ one?
Also, would it be easier if we set up the site with specific photo template sizes for visual consistency across the site? This is a sample of the one I use:
That way we don't have to crop the image outside the site.
Is there already an option to include an image in a post in templated form? That way we don't need to embed it manually into the post? Refer to image below:

I would automatically embed and space correctly.
Just something to consider. If you all like the way it is now that's fine

Pinky, I have upgraded you to an Admin (I had to recreate all the users now that we are on the non dev site). You should see all the options that you normally see in any WP installation. Regarding your few additional options it seems you have a few plugins that are extra. If you tell me their names we can look at installing them if they assist with the workflow.
Regarding the last question, didnt quite follow. So when you are creating a post there is a spot for the default image which will show up on the front page and across the top of the post itself (featured image in bottom right corner of post). But as far as inserting an image into a post you just click "add media" and it places it wherever your cursor is.
Regarding the crop, it seems like your plugin makes it automated (can you please find out the name of the plugin?) but you can also do it manually. Inside the "Add Media" you can select your image and click "Edit" and crop it from there. See attachment. And when you insert it you can select the default sizes (300x300 or 640x or full size). Anyways let me know your plugin name and we can install it and hopefully it helps. Thanks ![]()

Thanks MD for the info, I'll give it a try next time I make a post. Thanks for fixing it on the Grace Elizabeth one ![]()

Wrote a new post up on the blog, "Festival Fashion"

MD do you think you have enough content to go live with the blog yet?

Looking great.
I promise to write something soon too. ![]()
@maddog107 Just out of sheer nebbiness, have we had many blog submissions from members yet?

Is there a reason the Call To Action buttons ("Babe Streetstyle" and etc.) links to the same page as the blog post instead of their respective sections on the forum? Also are we trying to be more of a Fashion site instead of a Fashion Model and Celebrity site? That's fine but It comes off as inconsistent and confusing brand-wise and as if we are tying to be too much. I am referring to the "Fashion is #BELLAZON" part
If we are trying to be more of a Fashion site we might want to make minor adjustments across our media. On the main page could we link the large black logo back to the forum?
@katchitup: LOVE your blog post!!!
It is concise and the photo selections are fantastic!!!
Is there any way we could crop the top horizontal photo so there is less excess space on the right and more focus on the foreground (the models)? Also could be resize the photo down a few pixels? It looks too wide and imbalanced compared to the text and photos below it. The cropping I suggested might resolve this ![]()

Hi yes a bunch of people reached out to me and have written articles, unfortunantly I have been swamped and have not had time to put them up on the site and add media to them. Been dealing with developers mostly (and my regular 9-5) ![]()
Ill try to get them up sometime this weekend but I have out of state relatives coming so I am doing tourist guide duties too ![]()

Pinky, so call to action should go back to the forum, we want user engagement. The blog is simply to appeal to more users who hit the front page before sending them off to the forum where its just a sea of text. But the blog should always push people towards the forum. If there is a link back then its a mistake and feel free to update it or I will go through all the pages before we go live to try and catch any mistake like that. I did update some of @katchitup articles to add a link to the appropriate gallery using the "link shortcode" that creates a nice visible button.
As far as the Fashion is Bellazon, its just filler. The original template said like #GLOSSY (name of the template) is FASHION, I just changed the words but that is something we should change before we go live. I just couldnt think of anything good to put there (suggestions welcome)
And regarding the goal of BZ, I think we should remain fashion and celebrity site, the reason the articles are biased right now to the fashion weeks is because I provided the writers on Fiverr the list that @katchitup (I think) put together on a few future ideas to write about, and they all seem to have chosen fashion week. But most of the stuff I have been pushing recently is a lot more just model/celebrity based. Someone suggested all the models that have birthdays each month with a little gallery. Other translated some article about Barbara P from some hungarian magazine, models that had babies this year, etc. And I think those articles are a lot more inline with what BZ is. Most of the Fashion week section is a ghost town anyways so obviously not appropriate for our users.
Regarding the link back, you are referring to the blog correct? I would assume that if a person is reading the blog and wanted to go back to the front page the natrual thing to do would be to click the logo, if that sent you to the forum that may be a bit confusing. But maybe once we update the Forum page to link back to the blog that will be a non issue. But there is already a link to the forum from the blog site. Let me know if thats not what you were referring to.

@maddog107 I think Pink is referring to how on my most recent blog post, "Festival Fashion" the buttons I put to link back to Bellazon threads just redirects you to the blog homepage. Not sure how I fix this.
@PinkCouture Thanks for the kind words
I'll try to crop the main image so its more fitting to the images bellow! Also I think once the blog goes live it will be more about the models and less about the fashion. Like I'm thinking more posts about this models latest campaign, or this latest photoshoot or that. I think for now though for the sake of generating content to be on there before it goes live this is good, then with the more recent photoshoots we can do more posts about as they come up

@katchitup So you have this:
[dahz_framework_button style="style-1" position="center" url=https://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/42708-babe-streetstyle/"#" text="Babe Streetstyle"][/dahz_framework_button]
I think the URL should be where the # is currently
[dahz_framework_button style="style-1" position="center" url="https://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/42708-babe-streetstyle/" text="Babe Streetstyle"][/dahz_framework_button]
I updated your article, and its great as ususal, thanks ![]()

In order for there to be user engagement we need to them to actually do something. In our case it is to go onto our forum which was why it is important we have Call To Actions that links back to the forum
I just checked Kat's blog post and it seems to be fine now! ![]()
At the end of every blog post there should be a specific CTA that links to something on the forum. For example, I noticed the "Model Skin" post there is nothing in the article that links to the forum. These are general ideas off the topic of my head to give a sense of what I am talking, "To learn more about top model skin care regiments visit bellazon.com", "Read more about....at bellazon.com", "For the latest news on model's favorite skincare product click here" or something like that. It might seem intuitive for readers to automatically go onto our forum without us specifically telling them to but in practiced it is not true. If we don't clearly tell/direct them the average reader would not go onto our forum. And it is more than just having a link or button present. However with the "Festival Fashion" post it is fine to leave it as is because of the way it was written and formatted
We should consider updating the "Fashion is #BELLAZON" subheader. It seems like a minor thing but often times minor things are what makes the most impact in either direction. Let's brainstorm on subheads that are more on brand and revisit this topic at a later time ![]()
Sorry I was unclear, I didn't think there's anything wrong with the articles
I like the idea of having an article about Fashion Week and we should probably continue doing this if possible. As long as our primary focus is on Models and Celebrities I think we are fine ![]()
It is just a industry rule of thumb your logo should link back to your main website (in our case the forum). Since the logo is already on the main page of the blog it wouldn't make sense to link it back to the exact same page ![]()

please let me know what you would want improved. It does real time filtration when you start typing. I will be adding other drop down to filter by hair color, nationality, etc.
We will be moving this to blog layout hopefully soon.
