sorry to just pop up here out of the blue. But i wanted to send you some love  Anxiety is a bitch. I struggle with it as well it sucks.

All are welcome here.

Thank you!

I think I've always had it, but I became aware of it consciously the last 2 weeks and couldn't turn it off. I took some clonazepam today and felt like I did before the episode. I have CBD oil coming tomorrow to use cause I'd rather use natural medicines before prescription ones.

Papa Johns is the best chain pizza here in the US in my opinion.

She's married and I don't do that shit.

Seafood pizza from chains here doesn't happen.

I feel good now after the clonazepam and am waiting for the CBD oil to come tomorrow. Thanks and can't wait for summer.

I think I've always had it as well. I get what you mean with natural medicines. I never used CBD Oil though, I should give it a try!  I've been on antidepressants for 2 years, but I stopped a month ago and i feel the same?  (same as in okay so that's good ) That lead me to question the efficacity of those prescriptions.

What saved me was mindfullness meditation.

Covid is surely not helping people with mental health issues that's for sure...

I'm using the anxiety to make some changes and formulate a plan of goals to work on.

To me it's like being paranoid when high which brings feelings and things I've suppressed into my consciousness that I've used to help me better myself.

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. And there’s growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re actually remodeling the physical structure of your brain.

English is not my first langage so here is a better explanation that i could give

basically it's being in the now. And to dissociate yourself from your thoughts, emotions ans sensations. They will pass, they are not you.

My parents made me take Ritalin as a kid up to a teenager for ADHD, sure it helped me, but I didn't like the way it made me feel at all. That's the reason I'd rather try the natural medicine route and no nasty side effects from prescription drugs.

That's not good at all. Do you get withdrawals from the medication?

I need to try meditation.

Yeah feel for everyone during this Pandemic with mental issues which always get conveniently forgotten by the government. It doesn't bother me cause I'm an introvert.

I had the minimal dose of prozac so that might be why i did not have any side effects? But I literally feel the same it's bizarre. I started Prozac at the same time than meditation so i always wondered which one actually helped me? i thought it was both, now i'm not so sure.

Meditation sounds impossible to do. I used to think i could never meditate because my mind is like an hamster on a wheel. But with time and practice it works wonders.
