Don't know if you follow the NHL that much, but one of the 8 losing teams from the playin games will get that pick.

I didn't know who was playing so I looked. Is it a good thing or a weird thing that they chose to go with Inter for their team name?

It seems like the MLS is importing soccer culture rather than our other 4 big sports exporting it.

I think they realised they were not attracting people in North America who are traditionally fans of European leagues, and made changes to attempt to do so. I'm not sure where I remember that from, so I may have that wrong.

Yeah the difference is that this league isn't the best in the world and doesn't have the best players or otherwise it would be different in my opinion.

If their goal is to be a great international league, and it's fine to have goals, they need to first be the best North American league. Liga MX has that title.

I was saying from a fan perspective, fans love to see stars and the best in the world.

The MLS would kill it if they had Messi and Ronaldo in their primes.

They don't have the money or prestige for that level of player. If they can get to that point, it would take a long time.
