IF anyone wants me to rescan these to read the article just let me know - it was really difficult to scan as it is stuck in a scrap book that is very difficult to work with... but if you want I try again

QUICKLY - someone post something nice before I jump off bridge for feeling so sorry for myself with bad scans!!! SILVANA/MISSPARKER7 - HELP!!!

Miss parker takes pics with a digital camera, at lest the last post here, which is a good method

Scans I mailed you to try different DPI to find which dp i is the best for that paper....

I scan the Renee stuff and Helena and Paulina in 500 dpi, some 600 and some 900, but takes ages,. Depends on the time you want to spend in your scans

As my scans now have a big proupose as Im working in somehting big for Renee, Im doing all in HQ ( NOT NOW as Im working on other thing for 2 more weeks and with the FLU here its not easy to work things...

Anyway

Scan at 300 dpi, or 250, or 200

or 350

thatst an average

save the scan that big

then open it in photoshop and reduce it 2500 pixels high ( my HQ scans) or 2000

compare which one looks better, with strikes or red dots

so that whould be the DPI IN GENERAL that best suits your scanner

The you have many filters... we can chat later OK? You know where to find me

they will look great

If another tip , let me know

I do scan in 300DPI - but when shrinking as to be able to upload (very slow in South Africa) - I screw it all up somewhere. WIll keep trying... got lots I want to share! X
