And I'm so Happy with Miguel's performances, both of them are just on point! He's the best

I repect everyone's opinions but I don't think Candice looked bored in her opening she kept it fierce and simple. I guess we are just so used to models blowing kisses, pointing and making lovehearts with their hands.  

We love you Ale! Can someone please edit this into the VSFS to make it look like VS actually cared about Ale?? And switch the segments again to make it look like she closed the show, thank you!!

Wow there's no 720p or 1080p versions I can find yet.

I just finished watching, here are some notes I made:

-It's an okay opening from Candice. Her otherwise not so nice hair roots work with the Punk theme

-Aaaand then the shitty editing starts. The editing makes artists the stars of this show. I don't even care about the models, I'm just listening to the music. 

-I love Miguel's voice. Porcelain is easier to follow than Punk but it's still shit

-They are really forcing us to like Josephine in every possible moment. It just doesn't work..

-Poor Ming…And they really added the weird hand pose Martha made?  

-They barely even mentioned the names of the segments. I read from here Winter's tale was inspired by Finnish Lapland. As a Finn I would say it looks more inspired by all finno-ugric tribes, that don't live only in Lapland, they locate all the way from here to Russian Siberia. But hey I know VS doesn't care about being that accurate   I do love some of the outfits in this segment, Gizele melted my heart

-Pink is okay, I like the outfits more than last years. But they are all making the same kiss pose

-Elsa's outfit in Nomadic doesn't really stand out bc everyone before and after her are wearing huge wings. And they seriously didn't even let Ale have the closing of the show? Ed deserves all the hate from Ale fans..

-Overall: I feel like I watched a concert. Miguel and Leslie Odom jr. were my favourite models. I would prefer VS to take a year break from the show and completely revamp it, rather than continue with this train wreck

My biggest takeaway is... Barbara needs to  go. I liked her in her first couple of years but this year, she undoubtedly looked the worst. I feel like her eyes get farther and farther apart each year. 

i can understand why they didn't want to give Ale a segment since she's leaving but now she doesn't even close anymore, screw you VS

I'm kinda over disappointed in this year's show. I guess they couldn't do any worse.

1. Too much emphasis on the performers and toooooooo few on the models. I mean they stayed like minutes on the performers and there were models who got like 2 seconds of visibility. WHY? Are you promoting the lingerie or the performers? 

2. The fact that they have changed the order of the segments so that Alessandra doesn't close it, it's total BS.

3. I was expecting a segment break all about Alessandra, and you do one for Lily Aldridge?!?! WHO CARES?!?!

4. Of course they couldn't miss Ming falling, they stayed on her all the time. You thought that this could help the show get more views? NO WAY.

5. Only the Goddesses segment saves all the show. The rest is completely awful.

6. Too much emphasis on Adriana. Hello? Ok, she's Adriana Lima, but then why hiring so many models for the show if you then give these poor girls 2 seconds of visibility because you have to dedicate hours to Adriana? I don't get it.

The edit was shit. Unless its the opening, i dont think the camera stayed on the model for more than 3 secs. It would cut to backstage/the performer/another model. Literally, each girl was shown 1 second for their walk, cut to something else, then another 2 seconds for the pose.

If I had to rate the show... 7/10

Newcomers, big time improvements + the ones that did well, second chances should come back for the next show. Everyone else is on my TBD list. And anyone else that I forget, well, they're probably too boring.

Currently watching it and I?? Whether it's the editing or the amount of models cast, you can barely breathe in between models doing their poses, it's paced too fast. It's like blink and you miss.

I really don't like the editing. They should tell Hamish (the director of the show) to fucking get his job right. He said that he does the in-between shots when the models walk because he thinks it gets dull to only see models walking one after another. It might get repetitive to a certain extend, but first: this is a fashion show and second: it doesn't mean that he has to squeeze in so many in-between footage, so we barely see the models' walk. Personally, I can't stand when before the first girl reaches the end of the runway, the camera has already shown the third girl walking the runway... and obviously the second model and the performer and the performer again, and again and again... it's too much.

And the editing of the posing also sucks. On one take you'd see a model about to put her hands on her waist and then it cuts to a shot where she's blowing a kiss. Things that obviously don't fit. Amateur editing at its best.... and that from a professional... WOW!

And what's with the constant stupid switching of the segments? When "Nomadic Adventure" is the last segment of the show, then keep it that way. Poor Ale - she got robbed of her closing walk. I'm waiting for the day when they edit a model from one segment into another.  

The music-part: well, just like the editing - always reliable to prevent the show from being a great one. This time I only liked Miguel's "Told you so" and Jane Zhang's medley. And they did it again: They managed to design a messy PINK-collection but making a great music choice for that segment. 

And filming the show two times has become pointless. I thought they did it, so if a model messes up her walk, they still have the other walk to choose from but yet they showed Ming's fall. But I guess they waited a long time for a model to fall. Behati, Jessica and KK teased them with almost falling but Ming finally gave it to them.  

PS: Sara's and Nadine's outfits in winter's tale-segment inspired me to design a segment collection with an Inuit-theme.
