Well, I can just recommend Hamburg to everyone who likes town trips, to me it's the most beautiful city in Germany. Okay, I haven't been in all of them, of course. There are bigger ones, there are older ones, certainly there are those with a better cultural programme. Nevertheless, I wouldn't wanna live somewhere else. You can always go to the beach at the river Elbe, plus it's just about 1 hour's drive to the Northern or Eastern Sea if you prefer open water.
And I can't think of a place that's more beautiful when the sun shines
... sounds like I should ask some tourist agency for a job ...
