Aww come back here you! ![]()
Yes, a reprieve from sleeping on the couch. ![]()
Bored out of my fucking mind........
Check out this video, because I said so. ![]()

*immediately complies because Big G said so* :|

So what was that I was just told to watch? ![]()
Loads and loads of porn, which you will be compelled to watch even though you won't wanna. :|
Actually, it's a video of a guy playing guitar, just thought I would share.
No porn, really it's safe to watch.

So just some random guy? I watched it. I was hoping it was you
![]()
Yup, just some random guy.
If I could play like that...it would be cool, I'll say that much. ![]()

Hey I see you have a new custom member title
What do you mean by halved? I demand an explanation!
On another unrelated note, I began reading The Rules of Attraction yesterday ![]()
Hmmm.... It sat there saying "PIP Emperor" for so long, and I've been wanting to change it.
So I thought of something which describes how I've been feeling for the past few years since I started getting really sick, Halved, like I'm missing half of myself. Because I didn't used to be this way, I used to do stuff you know.
So I'm here all the time, and whenever I see that it reminds me I need to put that piece back in place, and the word is strategically placed you'll notice, so that I see it all the time.
So basically, I need to get to a better doctor, and get righted.
I liked that book better than American Psycho, pretty much because it wasn't so repetitive to the point of driving me insane, and it's a bit shorter.
I'm reading, the Subtle Knife, slowly, but I'm reading it.

haha Great explanation! Sounds like it came right out of your ass
![]()
Blasphemy! How could you like it better than AP?!
Actually this book is written the way I would write my own first novel...which is coming along...slowly...but fucking surely!
But yeah, the multiple first perspectives is a technique I am currently employing
Subtle Knife, how is that going? Good I hope? ![]()
totally random, but have you ever played Sudoku? My mom's totally addicted to that shit :|
You see right through it all.
I think maybe I should have read AP before watching the movie, and then maybe I would have liked it more. I read Rules of Attraction before seeing the movie (I think), liked it a little better. Who knows, could be a bunch of reasons, I liked it over AP, none of which are coming to mind at the moment.
I liked getting the story from different perspective, so maybe that was another deciding factor. AP was good but I always felt like it was dragging when I was reading it, Rules of Attraction never felt that way.
So you gonna hook me up with a free copy of that novel once your done?
The ever mooching bastard that I am.
No, I would pay for it.
I've read the first chapter so far, after finishing the Golden Compass last night. Not really far enough to know yet, but hopefully it follows suit with the first book, because that one was a good read.
Used to read tons, and then stopped for a while, and it's been kind of hard to get reading fast again, so everything is taking longer. <_<
Good god, Sudoku, it's from the devil I swear.
My Mom is addicted too, she bought about twenty little books, and two handheld electronic games. She got me addicted too.
Luckily I am having more sucess controlling my sudoku addiction than she is. ![]()
Going to sleep, trying to be in bed by at least midnight, trying to get myself sleeping more normal. Totally...Not...Gonna....Work. :| But I have to try you know. ![]()
Edit: haha the writer, my apologies. ![]()

Yes, Nicole sees through all...including your clothes
:brows:
*covers ears as to not listen to any more blasphemy* Did you even list Rules of Attraction as a favorite? *raises a quizzical eyebrow* If I find out you didn't I'm coming back here to bop you on your head with a rolling pin ![]()
haha yes, I'll give you one of the promotional ones
As long as you promise to recommend my book to others :|
omg my mom has like 20 books and the handhelds too!!!!
omg they're sick! haha And she's got me into it too, but not nearly as deep. Like you I have managed to control my addiction at least somewhat.
Have a good night ![]()
no apologies necessary
I enjoy reading your essays ![]()

I always try to read the book first before seeing the movie, as there are plot points and things that will get missed otherwise. Harry Potter is a fine example of this. I always find it easier, and if the movie is disappointing, I can always read the book again. For some reason if I see the movie first and then read the book, it screws me up. Example though, now I can see Memoirs of a Geisha without getting totally confused.
I want a copy of that book too Nicole.
Signed and everything.
Yay for the Golden Compass and the Subtle Knife. I got through the first rather quickly but the second took me a bit longer. I don't remember if it had anything to do with the book, necessarily. I think it was more that I was doing twenty other things at the same time. The author of those has actually planned two more books, but I think they were more reference than continuation.
And I'll just be over here because I have no idea what Sudoku is and I think this is a good thing ![]()
You can see through clothes?
Gonna have to teach me that one.
I would use it to combat the forces of evil I swear.
Rules of Attraction is on my favorites list,
I went back and checked just to make sure, so I don't end up with my foot in my mouth later on. I don't know I just liked it a little better.
So no rolling pin for me please,
you can slowly lower that eyebrow now too, don't want it to get stuck that way.
I won't have to recommend your book to anyone, it's gonna sell itself.
I'll recommend it anyways though.
I seem to be able to fully control the addiction to sudoku now, I haven't done one in a few days, but that feeling is still there nagging me. I think it's a good thing if you stay clear of sudoku avada, unless of course you want something to ruthlessly consume your time.
As a rule I usually try to read the book before seeing the movie too, it just works out better that way, and you get a much better understanding of what's going on, the way the original author intended, instead of getting a smattering of what the screen writer felt was important to the story. I saw American Psycho first, and those things with endless detail and repetition, are 10 times more extensive in the book, and maybe that turned me off to it a little. That's a good point about having the book to fall back on if the movie doesn't quite live up to expectations. ![]()
Yeah, doing that much and trying to get through a book could make it more difficult.
I think I'll probably get into the second book fairly easy once I read a little bit more, I've still only read the first chapter. If it's half as good as the first one, I should be able to read through it quick. He should continue on with the series, I mean there is a base of fans, lots of people seem to like the books, it's a win win situation for him. ![]()

Hi Mike ![]()
I see the capt. is browsing... ![]()
![]()
Hey Angie. ![]()
Was I online? Maybe I was browsing around a bit.
Enjoying myself a bit more now that I'm not an Admin, don't have to actually communicate with idiots everyday, whether it be on the staff or not, if I so choose, which is a welcome relief.
Howdy Nicole. ![]()
So, who wants to be kindly citizens and help Mike fill up the "Mike wrecked our only car" fund?
Or I should say someone wrecked it for us, it wasn't my fault, but regardless, it's not going anywhere anymore.
I don't expect even a hint of sympathy from you spoon fed motherfuckers, but a "that's too bad, wish I could help" might make it look like you aren't total cocks.

Sorry to here that
, my car is only running on fumes, she is going to die soon, porr Valerie ![]()
