2019 SI Swimsuit

They don't give a chance to models who really deserve to be in the issue because sexy af because they prefer to have such girls in the issue.

They really should start considering the idea of making more than one issue: one with plus sized models and one with actual sexy girls.

Tara is very pretty, unlike the plus size models they had so far..i'm ok with her since this how they are now and we have to deal with it..BUT if Shanina and Lini don't make it as well i'll..

I don't think there is any real hope for SISE as long as MJ is in charge of it.

We had good issues still prior to MJ's tenure. It's about her and not a broader cultural shift in my humble opinion.

I agree, I think 2011 was a good one and 2012 was good too, it just went downhill in 2013 and obviously the last two have been horrible and 2019 seems like it'll be the worst one yet

SI really isn’t coming out in February. They posted their upcoming calendar, and the Swimsuit issue is scheduled to come out May 13, 2019. The date it goes on sale is May 9.

The fuck? So they changed it? MJ really is trashing all SI-related traditions  

I think it is because of the sale. They are expecting SI to be sold early next year.

I would think changing the date of release would be above here pay grade. I’m sure she was in the discussion, but this sounds like a brilliant idea from corporate. And by brilliant I mean unnecessary and in my mind ignores the whole reason the issue has always come out when it has.

It's the issue that comes out after the Super Bowl, that's usually a "slow" time in the sports world so SI came out with the swimsuit issue to keep the public interested and it became the tradition it is (or was?) until this day. 

Considering how late they started I'm not surprised.  The limbo status of SI is probably wreaking havoc on everything.  Can't blame MJ for that 

I love Tara so much but it's a no!

I guess that would explain why they're shooting so late in the year this time around.

It's not a cultural shift IMHO, it's an all-out assault from the politically correct media (which is a pleonasm now...) that try to bend people's natural feelings. MJ is part of this wave (though she has done some good stuff).

The good elite soldiers from the SJW media obey two things: the money and the wind. So, we just have to stop buying their stuff and wait for the wind to change (which will happen because PC is just this snake that will eat itself )

In the meantime, we can keep enjoying the great past editions with Lauren or Hannah! These models' bodies are magic!
