They nuked Raccoon City at the end of RE3 (yup, it was actually a nuke). I think Requiem focuses on exploring what’s left of the city.
OG RE2 was always my favorite in the series, so can’t miss this one.
EDIT: the remakes are also fantastic

oh yeah I remember now. i played RE3 many times when I was a kid, RE2 a lot too but not as much as RE 3 (more action oriented and replayable for me).
Generally speaking a nuke would demolish the buildings more around the blast radius, it would also be radioactive for the protagonist to explore lol.

Wasn’t fan of the “Nemesis” storyline, but yeah RE3 was really good too.
I mean yeah, even a tactical nuke would totally flatten the city but I’m sure they’ve come up with some clever explanation,

The actress that played Jill in the nemesis movie was gorgeous...
Some shorts with what appears to be the preview footage appeared right now. Game looks great, has a great environment. The bearded guy appears to be a middle aged Leon/disheveled and wearing the same jacket..

Apparently the footage I posted was fake... only journalists, influencers, etc. got to see the 30 min. footage and nothing has been released yet..
