Doom Dark Ages is hugely underperforming compared to Doom: Eternal. The game looks extremely fun but definitely the art style and the gameplay changes deviate too much from Doom.
I hate the trend in gaming going away from physical copies. Nintendo are only doing physical copies for their 1st party games and a select few 3rd party games for the Switch 2 going forward.
I miss the good old days of putting a game in a playing right away. The downloading of a game when you have the physical copy and day 1 patches are one of many things wrong in current gaming.

The demo is in Kovir, so Triss will be in the game (most likely). It looks like they changed ciri's face a little to look more like W3, and even her voice actor sounds a lot more like the one in W3.

they claim that this was run on the ps5 w/ ray tracing. is that possible?
amazing voice acting- pretty much all of elden ring/shadow of the erdtree characters are great.

I'm dubious about that claim, but even if it is, it is probably a build scaled to run properly on that hardware.

I bet the game will have big downgrades/and look different when it comes out. CDPR says that it will come out the earliest in 2027, so that means 2028 or later lol
