Yeah, I can't believe my 1000 post was talking about tampons. ![]()

Hey Brasil, usualy if it hurst is b.c the tampon is no inserted properly, It has happened to me many times and i gotta pull it out and use another one! What a waste , Ive been a tampon user for 5 yrs, I actually just switched to pads b,c I find that im rushing when i put in a tampon and i usually put it in wrong and it hurts, thus wasting tampons! So i use pads when imjust chilling at home not going ot be wearing any sexy tight pants, but tampons are good to have when u wanna wear that tight skirt or pants. Pads are very uncomfortable, they also open up too sometimes , But in the end they both suck. the pros and cons of pads and tampons. we can all weight it out they both equally suck!

^ Isn't there another one that stops it all together? I remember hearing something about it but I can't remember where or when that was. -.- I'll have to go look it up.

And if you think about it, once a month for say a week is what, three months?

I get it 4-5 days as well. But I think a week is supposed to be the "norm". but still, if you're having it two days every month, that's still 24 days, which is nearly four weeks. so knocking it down to once a year, for only two weeks would be a huge difference.

I would seriously die if I had my period that long.
gentlemen, we are some lucky bastards.

Girls, don't ever ever ever go on Depo Provera. I had spotting for 4 whole months! With cramps and everything..one girl said she had hers for a year and a half. You'll have PMS pretty much all the time too. It's horrific.

I would seriously die if I had my period that long. How do you think I feel? Remember what I told you a few months ago about it?
Did you go to the doctor like I told you too? ![]()

Mine lasts about three days and is usually very light. It was heavy and would last up to 7 when I was 14 to about 17. But it's pretty easy to live with now that I'm older.

No.
Don't make me whine at you.

Mine is sort of like that now as well. It will be really heavy the first two days, and then the last two it tapers off and lightens up.

I think that's an individual thing. You should definitely get your doctor's approval though, preferably post bloodwork. It's important that they know the existing level of hormones that are in your body before they recommend you do anything.
Depo Pro doesn't bother me at all. I'm peachy. Never gave me pms, though I never got it to begin with...or cramps for that matter. And I can't say that I've ever spotted.
About the only thing that changes is that I end up hypersexual for like a week. Lol. I'm likely to bounce off walls that week from being so edgy.
It varies though, I have two friends who were on the same pill and Laura lost like 15 lbs and Jaime gained like 10.
