Please if your going to quote me include all the quote and not just a part of it. Above that sentence I also asked a question if the weightis due to health reasons or just being lazy.
I agree there are exceptions to everything and that applies here. When there is a reason due to health or medical issues
then women need not worry about weight and if someone has a problem with it, then it's too bad for them
But if it's not, then my above statement still stands.
Actually, i am neither agreeing nor disagreeing with you. I just pointed out that in the majority of cases, people are overweight because they are lazy, since you brought it up.

Yeah, pretty much. If you weigh more than I do (I weigh 145), I would kind of notice it much of the time.
I find myself being attracted to thin or athletic woman the most.

^^I get you. I once saw this couple at the mall. He was this skinny guy, 130 pounds soaking wet and she was this tall girl I put at 150 lbs or more. They looked ridiculous together. Not to mention every time she hugged him I swear I heard his lil' bones crack. But I guess they looked...happy ![]()
I do think weight matters. There once was this couple on Oprah (or some other dramatic talkshow), and she was huge. Like 200 lbs and she was tiny. He was of normal height and weight. Anyway, he said he was unattracted to her because she doesn't in the slightest resemble the woman he married anymore. Out came a picture of a slim woman who could be half of what she was now. Well, ofcourse he got boo-ed for it. Everyone started talking about how personality counts, blah blah blah, as if personality is something set in stone.
I think love and attraction go hand in hand. And people can't help themselves.
I had a bf, who at the beginning of our relationship was a upbeat, athletic (or trying to be) guy. As time passed he started having mood swings, stopped working out and gained weight. His brother told me those were phases he went through, as if it was as normal as changing the channel on your TV. Well, it didn't last long. Call me vain or superficial, but I want a guy that doesn't need me to hold him together. Ofcourse there are exeptions, like when something really bad happens, but he had none of that.

This.
Huh?

Of course guys care about weight at least most guys do.
Really, it's about what shape fits the person/girl.
Some girls really suit the slender look, where as some girls suit the more curvaceous look.
Personally, I believe the term"curvy" has been taken out of context in recent years.

Yeah, and some girls fit the 300 lb look.....

Of course not about their weight...

That's why I commented on the miss use of the word "curvy"
Obesity isn't attractive to me, but with this said, I doubt obese men are attractive to women.
I find it funny how athletic, 6 pack baring men are used across the world as the idyllic male physique and men don't complain about how this impacts their view on their own image, however many women constantly complain about how women with idyllic figures makes young women self conscious and self hating.

Guys don't care about their weight as much as women. It always cracks me up when slim girls say they are "fat" (probably because they saw a thinner model on the Internet or something). Come on, weight is not the most important thing in the world. If you're not obese or significantly overweight, it's ok.
...or maybe I just say that because I'm slightly overweight myself and I don't care about it? Which is a bad thing, because I'm just too lazy to exercise regularly. I guess I'll have to change that.

No not their weight but guys care about what size a girl is. That's what the thread is about

For me, weight can play a part only in extreme cases.

Yeah, just like some guys here say that they don't care about the weight and would rather do someone like Jessica Biel than some really skinny celebrity.... really?
Give me a break....
My two cents. For me there has to be physical attraction for a relationship to begin. With that said, if a girl is a little overweight and I still find her attractive, it's not a problem. But there comes a point where it's really unattractive.

Touche
Yes, they care, specially the breasts size. But no always it is the most important, be healthy is better.

2016
My weight yo-yo'ed. I dropped to a skinny 138 mid-year. Then I gained 17 pounds in half a year (155 lb) and lost trim in my waist.
Time to cut almost all carbs out of my diet and lose 15. I'm 100% committed now.

Diet plan:
- 1,300 calorie goal
- 2 meals (vegetables + lean protein)
- 1 glass OJ
- whole grain
