exactly Wolf. there is a diff between being a full figured or even plus size, and being obese. being jsut obese and severly overweight can lead to various health problems.but just being youself and not starivg to death so you can be a size 1 is jsut as unhealthy.
I think, like we are saying, girls like MArilyn or Kardashian or Hagerty, Sophia Loren, Maureen O'Hare or Doris Day are the ones that really looked the hottest, as they had a great figure to them and were jsut eye catching
That's it, even now all actresses today are in a way compared to the women of the past.
Even though film and tv says smaller is better, I can say with with all honesty that most men still prefer the above body types.
So it's OK to be full figured or even plus size, We want healthy and happy.
yes we do. i'd rather a Kim Kardashian or Jennifer Garner over these toothpicks that look like they will break in half with a stiff breeze. lol
Hey Wolf, this is a good thread as well
Thanks - on my way over
Hmmm, I want to ask something. I noticed one thing here. Some people here say "Oh, I'd rather have sex with a real woman than with a stick figure" and then give a list of names of women who aren't skinny but still attractive. The thing is, that all of those people you guys mention are maybe 20 pounds over, tops, and many of them aren't even close to being overweight. Sweet Lu, you said Jennifer Garner, really? Something has got to be wrong with a person who would consider her a plus size woman.
Anyways, my point is, that many celebrities you bring up, might not be skinny, but they aren't obese either. What about those who are 100+ pounds over?

By hollywood standards, ANYONE OVER A SIZE 2 or 4 is is considered heavy, and if your a model, O, 2, or at the most a size 4, so that being said, if your a size 6 or larger, your considered "fat" or "Curvy"
Exactly, LMS. So sorry for that confusion, as I do mean by hlooywoods standards of what is 'skinny" and what is 'overweight".

And i did marry a woman that is a plus-size woman by many standards, and i am quite happy with her. it is not about ehr weight, but the person she is; that is what made me fall in love with her. And yes, i do find her physically attractive and sexy.

It's not just only hollywood standards, it's society that says sizes over a 6 is overweight. My x-wife was a size 10/12 through out our marriage (still friends).
So it's not just about weight, it's also what's inside. Like I said above, most only really care about weight when women decide not to care
and let the weight pile on. It to me shows a lack of respect for ones self and is unhealthy. That's something the we don't want to be with.
With out offending anyone, let's ask this, why is this person 100+ pounds over weight? Is it because they have not done anything to take care of their self
or is it because they have medical issues?
For me and I think most will agree, if it's just because they are lazy and don't take care of themselves then weight is a issue, it shows they don't care and
if they don't care for them how can they care about someone else.

agreed, being a married woman myself, i HATE seeing a woman let herself go JUST because she is married or "taken" so there is no need to UP keep, me personally, i LIKE looking good for my hubby, i like when he is proud to have me on his arm, with that said, he loved me even when i got really big 175lbs, and im only 5"2, and now after my little one i'm a 9/10, and used to be a size 8, BUT again, i still do my best to stay healthy, excersise, eat right, but its STILL a struggle, and i think thats the problem for alot of women, the constant struggle, or at least thats my issue with it, i never WANTED to be a bean pole, i LOVE my hour glass figure, but it would be nice, not to have to watch every morsel i put in my mouth ![]()

My ex-girlfriend i 5'6''. She used to weigh about 132 lbs. In our final months as a couple, she lost about 10 pounds and said she still needed to lose another 10 pounds, which would mean her BMI would indicate slight underweight. As of now, I think I can tell she's lost those another 10 pounds. But hell, she looks healthy and happy, so what's my problem...
Anyway, my point is that many women want to be really slim, that's just in their nature. And my ex told me that she'd always been into thin girls (not sexually, of course...). So, I'd say - to each their own. If she looks good now and she feels good, then there's really no problem. But I did like her more when she was a little more curvy.
My current girlfriend, on the other hand, used to weigh about 200 lbs at 5'4''. We didn't know each other back then, though - I first met her when she was like 145 lbs. But figures don't really matter that much. I could possibly fall in love even with a skeleton, I just wouldn't be physically attracted to her ![]()

LOL, well put Q. as long as they are not in danger health wise, than it is there choice. I ahve known people that used to go without eating or force themselves to throw up jsut to get to a certain weight, or even mentally beat themselves up because they ahve a candy bar or soda. Now that is unhealthy.
