Approaching a Female

You need atleast a little self assurance..

It is important to realise your limits and shortcomings. It is a fact I'm not handsome and I know that, but it does not mean I don't have self-confidence. It means girls are not attracted physically toward me.

I know I'm intelligent. I know I can be funny. I know I'm a good person. This inner beauty means nothing because girls keep away.

Oh cmon worshipper, I`m sure you`re not the ugliest person in the world..and I`m sure you`re okay looking. In fact, most people complain about their looks so much that they have trouble realising that they actually are beautiful. And I`m sure there`s some women that find you attractive..everybody has different tastes.

it's because some guys take it too far. personally a guy who talks about his appearance more then i do is a huge turn off.it's great that a guy takes care of himself but talking about it to others is just not a very manly thing to do IMO..THAT's why guys who aren't considered metrosexual look at them wierd..and i agree with them

thats the problem men are taking it too far....luckily i dont....i just care about my apperance...my brother on the other hand...girls have come up to him openly and asked if he is gay because he dresses so nice...he isnt gay but they end up spending the night with him afterwards

I was about to start a thread like this until i saw this one and started reading it. i agree with alot of the stuff said and, being a guy, i used to have this trouble to. i dont know if your looking for a serious relationship or what-not but i learned something just a few days ago, its called charisma. i went to New York on a school function two weekends ago where we stayed in a hotel that had an all girls school from mississippistaying there too. Alot of these girls where really hot and i was with my best friend and we said to eachother we had to each get a girl and hook up with them. What better way to honor new york than a booty call so we were all just hanging out in the lobby where the girls were and my friend and i were talking to this other kid who goes to my school who is a girl magnet and i could never figure out why but we were scoping out the scene and we spotted some really hot chicks. i said why dont we go talk to them but both my friend and the babe magnet turned down the idea, i couldnt figure out why. ten minutes later the hot chicks came over and asked my friend and the babe magnet for their phone numbers and room numbers leaving me in the dust! Now i'm not self-absorbed but i'm just as good looking if not better than the two of them and yet they get picked up by the hottest girls there! well needless to say the two of them had a "fun weekend" and all i got were some mints from the hotels restraunt <_< . i went home wondering what i did wrong and decided to ask a close friend of mine that was a girl. she said that it was probably the way they presented themselves. they werent over eager they acted uniterested and let the girls come to them. i was astonished but she said it works most of the time. you just have to not care. so the next week i am going to play rehearsal and decide to try this method on a really pretty girl there who i am friends with but also flirt with. Iwas talking to her in a way that said i was not really focusing on the conversation but on other things but i was being nice and funny and pretty nomal i just was detached. and what do you know, she says to me wow this isnt the guy in knew before this is sexy *name censored* so i guess thats just the way to go

the moral of it all just relax and play it cool and i guarentee the girls will come to you

A guy told me once he had a dated a girl once who always put a lot of make-up on. (According to him) she looked fabulous, but when he woke up in the moring and looked at what was lying beside him (with no make-up on anymore) his first thought was: who the hell is that?

Since guys don't wear make-up, and basically look the same way in the morning as in the evening (hair and clothes aside) yeah I agree with Heaveth.
