OS, Gagne set history that year. Did not blow a save in that WHOLE YEAR!!! He had 55 saves chances that year, and he saved EACH GAME!!!   Overall, he saved about 88 games before he finally blew a save. Also, remember that the Dodgers had one of the SUCKIEST OFFENSIVES THAT YEAR!!! Yet, because of Gange, they still had a shot at the playoffs until the final 2 weeks of the season.

i have nothing against gagne, he's one of my favorite players. but mo is still the greatest, he had stellar numbers this year, was unhittable for months, was the only reliable player on the team, and i'm sick and tired of him getting lots of votes but never winning the award. i'm not saying gagne didnt deserve it (just in case i implied that). i'm saying mo deserves one. personally methinks gagne's gangsta and i admire what he did that year, but i really want mo to get a damn award already!

let me start of by saying that its not that i dont think he deserved the MVP award. thats not the issue here. i just cant stand him. period. i find him phony, annoying, and a jackass. plain and simple. secondly, want to know how he embarassed me as a yankee fan? he decided to slap a ball out of bronson arroyo's hand last year during the ALCS. it was the most humiliating moment in that entire ALCS. because red sox fans have legit ammunition against us and there's not a damn thing i can say to excuse his shit-ass behavior. thats not how you play the game. whats worse is that he still hasnt apologized for it, he says it was a "good play" BULLSHIT. what i hate more are yankee fans who defend that move as showing that he has "heart" again BULLSHIT. if manny ramirez had knocked the ball out of one of our pitcher's hands we'd be screaming bloody murder. the thought of it still sickens me to this day. so THAT my friend is how he embarasses me as a yankee fan. i dont want to hear about his oh so wonderful stats. i really dont give two shits about them. because i never said he isnt a great player. i just want him the fuck off my team.

nah but i dont think he has the mentality of a new yorker, at all in fact. screw the phoniness, he's just lacking in mental toughness...he seems to want people to like him and its seriously like...stop...just STOP before i spit on you from the empire state bldg.

also irrelevant but i just have to get it out. his spanish sucks ASS. not that i should talk BUT he does the SAP commercials for the YES ntwk, and omg...he pronounces everything wrong. and he accidentally says A-S-P instead of S-A-P. dear lord help him

The Yankees know what they are doing. They need a CF and some bullpen help, they will probably get that done at the GM meetings next week. The Blue Jays are being really agressive.

The Mets, what can I say, I'm very ecstatic about the moves they've made. They didn't give up much for Delgado and they got the closer that they needed in Wagner. The thing that is getting me more excited than anything is that they targeting their flaws and getting the guy that they want, while weaking their division rivals. And they are not done....Manny next, 2B, catcher, bullpen??

It's kind of fun to be a Mets fan right now.
