Even when it is as an external link huh? You understand this is contradictive to the context of some messages but anyway, your forum, your rules.

^ First of all the topic poll question is, do you watch pornography? NOT do you think such & such sexual act is weird. Second, noticed how this thread is discussion-based. Links, images, etc. are rarely posted. Third, the rules clearly states pornographic materials are not allowed: http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/988-bellazon-rules-guidelines-and-faq/

If you feel the need to post or view pornography, there are many other sites you many visit to do so.

1. I joined this site out of my interest in female beauty as it is artistically dipictured in photographs.

2 As with every forum, its members make discussions, exchange opinions, communicate and the topic question is mostly the starting point. You can't expect from people to give answers like digits, 1 or 0.

3. In the spesific thread that is addressed to Adults Only I asked another member's opinion on a spesific subject and I posted an external link for a pornogrphic video of artistic nature. If you don't like it in your site its your perogative and that's fine by me. I thought that the Adults Only indication could cover it, my mistake. But pornography is not only pictures or video, it is also text, and there are many posts here that qualify such characterization. So when I comment on you being contradictive I expect from you to say that you have to draw a line at some point to prevent this place from becoming something else. Not make comments that dictate my needs or intentions to post porn here for the sake of porn. It shows poor judgment and lack of fexibility and communication skills from your side. I can understand your job to administrate this site has a lot of demands but this site is not represented only by its content but from your behavior too.

Have a nice day.

^ Wow. And you weren't even ever warned. If you have issues with me you, take it with me privately via PM. Not being snippy & posting it in a thread. This only causes more unnecessary drama and resolves nothing. There are also other staff members here you could turn to if you feel a need to do so.

I am not a porn consumer, however, I do occasionally visit Tumblr to look for pictures of pretty redheads, so I've seen plenty of porn gifs. So here is my question: why is the porn I do see so violent? Really rough thrusting, choking girls on dicks, very rough anal penetration, hair pulling, general choking, slapping, etc. And it isn't fetish stuff I don't think.

I think the more extreme gifs you have seen were probably fetish stuff, but in general porn has become much more rough and degrading to the female performers, certainly compared the (comparatively) more innocent early nineties. Incidentally, this movement roughly (though not entirely) coincides with the emergence of internet porn. Whether or not the more extreme content was a means to stand out amongst the 1000s of porn sites that suddenly emerged, I could not say. Though not one porn production company or individual probably deserves the blame for the rough state of porn, there are a few who moved the goalposts far enough on their own to get attributed part of the blame. e.g. Rocco Siffredi, who thought it necessary to popularize the act of dunking a woman's head in a toilet bowel during sex...

If porn is supposed to be representative of fantasies people have, does that mean that the average male porn viewer wants to be violent and degrading to women when he has sex? Of course, there are people with sadistic fetishes, but from what I can gather, this sort of stuff is pretty prevalent in mainstream porn now, not just fetish stuff. Are there more men who are sexual sadists than one might think?

Yes. It's not just men, either. Many women are also fans of seeing very rough sex. It's a popular power dynamic and gets a lot of people going.

I don't care what consensual stuff people are into usually, but I would be disturbed to find out that a partner regularly watched something like Nacho Vidal. Maybe it's my puritanical values shining through, but I feel that getting off to "erotica" which is just punching women in the face or choking them until they cry and pass out speaks to something much deeper, more pathological, and more problematic than a simple sexual kink.

Agreed. And no, it is not puritanical to be disturbed by such imagery. Sex is not supposed to be like that. And yes, I know I just dropped an absolute there, and I know that is typically not advisable in our world where most things are considered relative, but I think we really need to stop just accepting any sex thing and declaring it a matter of personal taste and therefore beyond criticism. Some things do cause legit harm, be it to the performers in the porn videos or to the psyches of the viewers, and should be criticized for such effects.

I agree; it can get somewhat fuzzy with "rough" sex, but I think there are some pretty clear lines. A slap on the butt isn't going to do permanent damage, while even if someone consents to being punched repeatedly, there's some serious, measurable harm. Early porn consumption (before age 12 or so) has been linked in some studies to developmental problems; I'd be interested (morbidly) to see the developmental effects of watching violent/extreme pornography... can't imagine they'd be good.

Maybe we need to add a caveat to the "consenting adults" tolerance by saying something like "anything done by consenting adults that doesn't have a high probability of killing, maiming, or otherwise seriously injuring one or both parties."

I read on Gawker about some new-ish trend in extreme porn called rosebudding, which involves pulling someone's rectum out of their butt. I can't find the article again, but it said that this requires surgery to fix. I think we can safely say that, even putting aside the horrifying and gross nature of the act itself, that it is something that should not really be in porn because of potential for serious harm, as per your caveat there. Sexualizing something that would normally be considered a medical emergency is irresponsible and disgusting.

Yeah, ordinarily I'm all about people doing whatever they want to with their own bodies, and if people are doing that to each other behind closed doors, then I don't think much can be said about it other than "wtf." But a commercial enterprise that involves something like that is way more suspect. Throw in the fact that our current social climate is not hospitable to adult performers and stigmatizes adult work (while consuming it voraciously, of course) and you have a recipe for some disembowelingly horrendous exploitation.
