I had a great dinner a few nights ago : cheese tortellini with braised short ribs and portobello mushrooms in a basil / marsala wine sauce.

Today's lunch:

 

 

This is a churrasco. We call churrasco here a sandwich made with sliced meat.

This one also had tomatoes, avocado, mayonnaise, green sauce, and another sauce called americana. 

Last Saturday's lunch:

Steak with spaghettis, mushrooms, fried onions and two salads: lettuce and tomatoes

Last night dinner (half of it) and today's lunch (the other half)

Family size pizza. Much needed after a long bike ride yesterday.

Has anybody else been receiving holiday gift baskets?

I have received an excessive amount of fruit and gift basket food as of late.  I just got 12 apples, 8 oranges, and 6 pears yesterday.......  .  I don't even like apples, hah.

Had a serving of chips yesterday w/ aioli and (this stuff I don't consume called) ketchup and a bottle of L&P (basically really sweet carbonated lemonade that's from New Zealand)

Some Christmas cookies that my sister in law has made for me  , I already ate the half of the box in only one day

Nice cookies everyone.  I got a lot of chocolate and butter christmas cookies (such as the below) but unfortunately I have an allergic reaction to eating more than small quantities of chocolate, so I gave much of it away...

Today's Brunch:  1/2 rack BBQ ribs, mash & gravy, 5 swedish meatballs, 1small piece garlic bread.

Dessert: Cream ball with sponge cake base.
