Love at First Sight

I've always wondered, what does it really mean . Does it just mean mutual attraction at first sight ? Is there something deeper to it ? Is it real ? Does it just depend ? How often do they turn into meaningful relationships I wonder. Not being critical of the term, I really am curious . Please share your thoughts .

Joe... I hope you get the response to this it deserves I cna not believe that no one has found at least some kind of something at first sight.

I understand your curiosity, it is something that is fed to us as "romantic" in movies, books and such..

And I agree with the possibilities, it is the way I see romance, a feeling a connection, a moment, something more than what you see.. I believe that there is someone out there that is meant for everyone as well but that goes into a different subject.. and I think it is possible to be love at first sight since I know from experience that not everyone that seems gorgeous or that you would think would attract some how does in ways not understood. Scientifically you can say Pheromones or Endorphins, but the odds of sharing the same in those with others is higher than the actual feeling that comes to someone; in my opinion anyway.

Not that I can say that I had love at first sight.. I have had annoyance at first sight once, which I had found later I adored the person, though still annoying; this person became someone special to me despite the urge to kick 'em in the beginning.

I had even knew a close friend the instant I saw the person. Have you ever had that? The instant you meet someone you knew you would liked them. I would think it the same in love, knowing you would have a connection the moment you saw them or met them. At least if someone pays attention, and does not let the pshycological and emotional elements that tend to cloud us get in the way that would be how I see it would be possible.

Not sure if any of this is helpful it is my thoughts about this subject currently. there are so many thing possible for this subject.. I am surprised no one has written their thoughts yet.

But I think that immediate chemistry exists that then can turn into love when getting to know each other better.

And then you say you always felt it with this person and felt connected and completely smitten.

You know like when i saw the guy i was like and from that time i was thinking about him all the time but anything happend with him coz i didn't show my feelinds....too bad

Its mean like you walk in road and just think nothing and in that scene you watch some girls who are in market for shopping and you or she watching you and you like her, her style then you think its love ? But its not love or love at 1 sight. Its just a attraction. nothing else.

uuughhh same to me with a guy that i saw in a store, he works there and i fall totally in love just looking at him... then iwent to another place but i cant stop thinking about him because he is really cute , goooosh , i think im going to the store again and i will ask for his number !!!!!!

if i have to guess....it's perhaps feeling really attracted to that person and not being able to shake off that person's taught off your head and you just want to keep seeing that person over and over...day and night... well and if you do indeed get lucky enough to date that person and truly fall for that person(personality/character)...and since you have already fallen for that person's appearance...u kinda confirm it is love at 1st sight... even though it may not have started off as love??...just my own theory!!

Saying that you would imagine something implies that you've not yet experienced it so you just go by your imagination. How can you be so sure that it's definitely possible if you've not experienced it? lol.

I'm not really sure that I think the whole love at first sight crap is entirely true/real. It's certainly not 'love' in the propper sense of the word. I don't think it's helped by what is fed to us or our imaginations by what we read in books and more commonly what we see in films. But I find it hard to believe you can love someone based entirely on how they look. If that is true, I don't see why so many people are desperate for love in the romantic sense if its something that can be found as easily as just looking at someone.
