Love at First Sight

Love is all encompasing. True love connects all things in the universe and therefore love at first sight truly does exist. In fact, love exists before first sight.

However, what most of us are confusing as love, probably does not exist at first sight unless it is in the manner described in the post above.

in the end everyone has somewhat different definitions for all these random concepts crazy humanity made up

I still really believe in "love" at first sight.. well actually some thing that may lead more deeper into love.. the people who have never felt it would be skeptica though..

Its meeting someone that it seems you have known for your whole life.. its like finding an attraction for someone you may not normally find an attraction to but there just that "thing" about them that makes you want them... its many other pleasant pleasures of emotion you get from this one person.. Its there.. we just have to stop trying to ignore it or sometimes even try to look so hard. It is something that kind of finds us at that one moment in life.. Its not bogus.. its ignored and sometimes missed.

I am saying there is someone or some people that in a moment there is a connection or just something about them. I have felt it.. whether or not it was the right person has never been proven but the feeling exists. Love is a choice and choosing to love is a whole other thread. But as for this feeling of "love" which I would not always say lust since in some cases that has nothing to do with the feelings; its very possible to have the feeling when you first see or meet someone.

People take "love at first sight" too literally.

You can have compassion and warmth towards a person upon initial sight but that's as far as it goes. Anything else is Hallmark marketing bullshit.

I think this is the most common feeling felt when it comes to meeting someone you will definitely get intimate with. Sadly also the one that most people try to build on and get very disappointed with since it is so temperary.

And I would imagine it is like falling quickly into emotion and a connection that simply can not be described as more than intense. And if anyone has this.. do not ever be so stupid to not let it happen.. what an experience.. I would imagine.

It's a very interesting topic. I believe in love at first sight, I do believe. Moreover, I think that it's the only kind of a true love. And I don't think that lust is important here. When I see a girl, the first thing I take into account is the face. I underwent love at first sight many times, but as I could not introduce myself, I drew blank again and again. Believe, love at first sight exists!

I fell in love at first sight once. She was so cute and had such a great smile. She ahd a couple guys trying to talk to her, but I was not going to be denied. We hit it off right away too. When the night ended and she was going to leave, i seriously wanted to ask her to marry me on the spot, cause I didn't want to ever be without her.

I didn't ask than though. I waited a few months. We've been together for 12 years and I still get the same feelign now that i did than.

Ok, then I tell you my story of love at first sight ( the last of many. I'll try to boil it down, and sorry for my rusty english). I participated in math competition in my school. When it began, I realized that I did not catch some things about how to fill in the blank, so I asked a teacher and the question sounded really silly. Everybody started to make fun of me, and one girl turned to me and smiled at me. I looked at her eyes and understood that she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. A wave of flame penertrated my soul, and I realized that my live would never be the same after that. I really fell in love, becouse she personified all my dreams ang ideals. I could not become aquainted with her. I tried but she avoided me every time when I did so, becouse I was not interesting for her. I did not see her for three years but I still remember her, becouse she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

You are not romantic persons, though. If you don't feel love at f.s. it does not mean that it does not exist. You have not seen for example atom, but you know, that it exists, don't you? There is the same case. Love at first sight exists at least for thoose who felt it.
